Facts about roadrunners learned[]

  • Roadrunners get sand off of their bodies by shaking, not using vacuum cleaners.
  • Roadrunners run very fast and live in the desert, not the ocean because they can't swim, making them one of the animals to drown easily.
  • Roadrunners don't drink water like humans do; they instead get juice from fruit.

Rescue Pack transformations[]

Note: The item in bold is the correct one.

  • Skateboard
  • Bicycle
  • Tent

  • This is one of the episodes where the Bobo Brothers can be seen instead of just heard yelling "Bobos! Bobos!" when they first appeared.
  • This is the first out of the four episodes to premiered during the week of March 5-9, 2007, the others (in order) being The Tapir's Trip Home, Jorge the Little Hawk Learns to Migrate!, and Giant Octopus to the Rescue. The episodes then encored the following Friday (the 9th).
  • Diego doesn't use Click in this episode except for at the end to take Roady's picture, but she does not speak.
  • This episode is somewhat similar to Rainforest Race, as they both involve racing in it.
  • Diego sings Una Adventura in this episode since it's an adventure and not a rescue.
  • This could be Diego's version of Dora Saves the Game (both involved lots of running).
    • Coincidentally, Diego appears in said episode as well.
  • When Diego says, "Say, 'Click!'" to take a picture of Roady, the audio is taken from A Booboo on the Pygmy Marmoset.
  • This is the last episode to use the old Diego animation before the Rescue Pack segment from Rescue of the Red-Eyed Tree Frogs!.
  • Although tumbleweeds are non-sentient and don't speak in real life, the tumbleweeds in this episode are sentient and say their names repeatedly, just like Pokemon, Explorer Stars, the ants from Lost and Found and Lost Map, the crabs from Beaches and Best Friends, the snakes, crocodiles, and spiders from School Pet, Teletubbies, Tiddlytubbies, and Yoshis (in this case, they say, "Tumbleweeds!" three times).
    • However, in Puppies Galore (an episode of the main show in Season 8), the tumbleweeds instead say "Dusty!" repeatedly.
  • In this episode, Diego uses Click to take a picture of something near the end of the episode, just like in Journey to Jaguar Mountain and Macky the Macaroni Penguin.
  • Although it premiered in 2007, it was actually made in 2006 according to the credits.
  • When Diego says, "Hey, We've almost finished the puzzle!" the audio is taken from Chinta the Baby Chinchilla.
