    • However, he does in the live show version.

  • On DirectTV and other cables, this episode is listed as "Baby Jaguar's Lost Growl".
  • Dora does not appear in this episode or go to the Jaguar Day party.
    • However, she does appear in the live show version of this episode.
  • This episode aired on Martin Luther King Jr. Day 2007.
    • Additionally, this episode premiered at 9:30am (et) that day and encored with a second airing at 12:00pm (et) later that day.
  • This is the first episode in which the Bobo Brothers swiped something (just like Swiper from the main show); they stole Baby Jaguar's growl.
    • This is also the first episode where the Bobo Brothers were stopped and failed to stop in the same episode. This is similar to how Dora and Boots stop Swiper and when Swiper does swipe something at the same time. It will happen again in The Tapir's Trip Home.
    • This could have been drawn parallel to another monkey antagonist, Mojo Jojo, from the Powerpuff Girls franchise.
  • This episode aired during "Diego's Great Dinosaur Rescue Night" on August 17, 2007, a primetime marathon showing three special episodes of the show. This episode aired at 8:00-8:30pm eastern (after the premiere of Diego's Great Dinosaur Rescue) and An Underwater Mystery aired next at 8:30-9:00pm eastern.
  • This is the first episode where the Bobo Brothers somehow play a major role due to Diego and Baby Jaguar chasing after them to try to retrieve Baby Jaguar’s growl.
  • A Flash game based on this episode was released to Nickjr.com; unlike the episode where Baby Jaguar loses his growl, in the game, all the other jaguars lose their growls, which is what the Bobos were planning to do before Alicia yelled, "Run, jaguars, run!".
  • A touring live show of the series based on this episode was staged twice in both 2007 and 2008.
    • However, the live show has some differences when compared to the actual episode:
      • Diego and Alicia are in their casual outfits instead of their special Jaguar Day shirts.
      • The live show contains a Animal Carnivale event taken place that's not in this episode.
      • Dora and Rescue Pack appear in the live show, but not in this episode.
        • In fact, the live show features Diego both wearing and using Rescue Pack.
  • When Alicia says, "Say 'Zoom!'" the audio is taken is from Little Kinkajou is in Beehive Trouble.
  • The reason why the Bobos wanted Baby Jaguar's growl is because every time they tried to growl like a jaguar, they always end up making monkey sounds.
  • Although it premiered in 2007 on Nickelodeon, Noggin, and on DVD, it was made in 2006 according to the credits.
