Dora, Boots, and preschoolers need to hurry back down the Tallest Mountain to see the super surprise awaiting them at Dora's house. Who is this a job for? Super Map! When Map puts on a magic cape and becomes a superhero, he can fly up high to give directions, use his super-breath and super-strength to move obstacles, and even help stop Swiper from swiping his cape!
Plot[]
The episode begins with Dora and Boots on top of Tallest Mountain after finding the Map in Lost Map. Soon, Map finds a magic cape in a bush, he tries it on and instantly becomes the resourceful superhero Super Map, who can help Dora and Boots save the day. Later, they hear Dora's Mami from afar telling her that she has a super surprise waiting for her at her house. Super Map instantly gives them directions on how to get there fast. They have to go through a jungle and down the river to get to Dora's House. They climb down Tallest Mountain and get going. On the path to the Jungle, Dora and Boots saw four baby birds (red, yellow, blue (Baby Blue Bird) and white) who are lost and can’t get to their nests. Luckily, Super Map comes to the rescue. Each bird has its own colored nest. The viewer is going to play a game and helps Map get the red bird to its red nest, the white bird to the white nest, Baby Blue Bird to her blue nest and the yellow bird to the yellow nest. Soon after, they reach the jungle. To get through, Dora, Boots and Super Map need to find the path with seven logs. They have to watch out for spiders and snakes. There are snakes on a path with 8 logs, so they can't take that one. Next, they find spiders on the path with 6 logs, which isn't the safest path either. Sure enough, they found the path with 7 logs which has no spiders and snakes. After that, Super Map, Dora and Boots super jump through the jungle by jumping from one log to the other. With that done, they made it through the jungle. Mami called Dora from afar once more. Dora shouted to her that she's coming. On the way to the river, Dora, Boots and Super Map sense the supervillain named Swiper! He'll try to swipe Super Map's cape! If only they have to find him is that Super Map uses his super-breath as it reveals that a bug is behind the flowers, the porcupine is under the rock and a bird is on the tree from his nest. What the audience saw, is that Swiper is hiding in the bush and Dora, Boots, and Super Map stop Swiper by saying "Swiper, no swiping!" three times and he runs away for good. After that, they reach the river. Tico comes over with a boat and says that they need lifejackets to ride through the river. Dora checks Backpack for lifejackets for her and Boots. After that, Super Map leads Dora and Boots through the river. To get to the other side, they have to go to the white flag at the end. They have to watch out for crocodiles, too. They avoid the crocodiles by taking the red path, then the yellow path, and finally another red path. Dora and Boots thanked Tico for the ride. They are getting so close to finding out what the super surprise is. They just have to get to Dora's House. Once they make it, Mami was impressed to see that Super Map helped them out the whole trip. Then, Papi shows Dora and Boots the super surprise: a big super fun slide. Dora, Boots and Super Map try it out. They climb up the ladder and together, they slid down the big slide. After that, Mami gave Dora and Boots super snacks. Map thought being a superhero is fun, but he decides to go back to being a regular Map. The episode ends with Dora and Boots sliding down the slide again.
This is the only time where (Super) Map tells his favorite part of this episode.

The red and white birds speak English while the blue (Baby Blue Bird) and yellow bird speak Spanish.
This is the first and only episode (Super) Map stops Swiper with Dora and Boots.
When Dora sings the line "We helped the baby birds along the way" from "We Did It!", her voice sounds like her Season 1 voice.
When the Red Bird asks "Where's my nest?", He also sounds like Dora.
Tico had a striped life jacket with the same design as his usual jacket on instead of an orange life jacket that Dora and Boots wear.

This is the first episode where (Super) Map asks the viewer to say "Map!"
Since (Super) Map is a superhero, he sings "I'm Super Map!", a heroic action music version of his original song.
This is the only episode where (Super) Map plays a major role, due to him being a superhero.
When Map is a superhero throughout the whole episode and called Super Map, he is technically similar to Superman. The name sounds a lot similar too.
When Dora and Boots sing the Travel Song, the Fiesta Trio does not jump out and yell out the last place after Dora and Boots ask "Where are we going?", instead, (Super) Map says it.
Unlike all other episodes, this is the only episode until Season 7 where Map zoom wipes in a different way during his segment. After (Super) Map finishes repeating the places, he soars across the screen with his red cape whooshing instead of filling and zooming to the screen with his open mouth.
However, his open mouth fills the screen when he slides down the slide and zoom wipes during the We Did It! song.

In the beginning, the episode starts at the tallest mountain. It is possible that this takes place directly after "Lost Map".
Coincidentally, the aforementioned episode and this one were put together on "Map Adventures" VHS and DVD, and "Lost Map" came before this episode, so this may prove that it almost definitely takes place directly after "Lost Map" (there is a good chance that it does).
What is interesting is that this episode premiered before "Lost Map".
This is the third episode where Dora's House is the last place Dora and Boots are going, first being the Season 1 episode Surprise!, and second being the Season 2 premiere episode The Big Storm.
Beginning with this episode, Tico can now turn his vest into a life jacket by pulling a cord on it. This will do later in Whose Birthday is It? and where Diego will turn his vest into a life jacket by pulling a cord on it too.
This is the first episode (Super) Map sings the Travel Song with Dora and Boots. He will do it again in Hide and Go Seek.
However, in this episode, he flies since he is "Super Map", but in the second aforementioned episode, he bounces while singing the travel song since he is just his regular self. In all other episodes, he is inside Backpack's side pocket.
Both times when he sings this song, he says the destination after the third "Where are we going" instead of the Fiesta Trio.
A life jacket also had to be gotten out of Backpack in the Go, Diego, Go! episode, Diego's Wolf Pup Rescue.
This is the only time ever where (Super) Map is not inside of Backpack for the duration of the entire adventure. From the beginning of the episode to the end of the episode, he never was inside of Backpack, However at the end of the episode before the credits, he is inside of Backpack.

Goofs/Errors[]
Dora has her Season 1 look for about half the episode.
Mami and Papi build a super slide for Dora and Boots as a surprise in Dora's backyard. But in later episodes, it is never seen again in her backyard and it is unknown why.
However, it did appear in the game Casa de Dora: New Adventures.
If one looks closely, when Dora asks the viewer if he/she sees the Jungle, Dora's socks are the color of her skin instead of yellow.
For an unknown reason, DirecTV used to list this episode as "A Letter for Swiper" instead of "Super Map!". In the early 2010's, this was fixed.
Running Gag[]
