Characters present[]

Songs[]

Super Flying Squirrel

Flying Squirrel Facts learned[]

  • A flying squirrel eats nuts, not fish.
  • A flying squirrel glides. In real life, flying squirrels can swim, but it isn't a common activity.
  • A flying squirrel sees well because it has good eyesight, but it can't dance well.
  • A flying squirrel lives in the forest, not the snow because it's too cold.
  • Flying squirrels are afraid of snakes.

Animal Puzzles with Questions[]

  • Does a flying squirrel eat nuts or fish?
  • Does a flying squirrel swim or glide?
  • Does a flying squirrel dance well or see well?
  • Does a flying squirrel live in the forest or the snow?

Animals found by Click[]

Note: The animals in bold are the animals in trouble.

  • Spectacled bears
  • Mice
  • Baby birds

Rescue Pack transformations[]

Note: The bolded item is the item Diego used to fix his motorcycle.

  • Jump rope
  • Flashlight
  • New tire (referred to as "big wheel")

Trivia[]

  • This episode could explain why Tico never appeared in the series. There is already a squirrel in the show.
  • All the animals that Click looked for are in a nest. She did not look for their sounds.
  • During the Al Rescate song, because Diego rides a motorcycle throughout the entire adventure, he does not do the clapping like usual, he instead honks the horn on his motorcycle.
  • This is the second episode where Rescue Pack was used almost immediately after Click, the first being Save the Sea Turtles.
  • Baby Jaguar does not appear in this episode. However, a flying squirrel is taking his place as the next assistant.
  • This could be Diego's version of Super Map! and Super Babies (all of them have to do with superheroes) because Flying Squirrel liked being a superhero.
  • This was the only episode to be written by the supervising producer Jeff DeGrandis.
  • Although it premiered in 2008 on DVD and Nickelodeon and 2011 on Nick Jr., it was made in 2007 according to the end credits.
  • This episode aired on the same day as Disney Pixar's WALL-E released in theaters.

Goofs/Errors[]

  • It is unknown how Rescue Pack managed to make the transformation wheel perfect and just the right size.
