Sleeping Boots is Boots who fell asleep in Fairytale Land under a mean Witch's sleeping spell. Dora has to become a true princess to wake him up and break the spell before the last leaf falls off the Ivy Vine Wall or he will be in a permanent sleep. He first appeared in the double-length episode “Dora's Fairytale Adventure”. He also made a flashback appearance in Dora Saves Fairytale Land when Dora mentioned the time about saving him. He was voiced by Harrison Chad.

Looks

Sleeping Boots is mostly a periwinkle color. Boots is shown wearing his same red pajamas from Boots' Cuddly Dinosaur, Louder!, and Catch the Babies.

Trivia

• The witch (previously a fruit tree) said "I put a sleeping spell on that monkey" and starts cackling.
• Boots wears his same red pajamas from Boots' Cuddly Dinosaur, Louder!, and Catch the Babies.
• Dora tries to wake up Boots by yelling "Wake up!" and tickling his foot. Neither of them worked.
  • The only way the spell can be broken is for him to have a hug from a true princess.
    • Additionally, if Dora, who the Seven Dwarves suggest to become a true Princess, doesn't get back in time to wake him up by the time the last leaf falls from the Ivy Vine Wall, Boots could be in a permanent sleep.
• He is the reason why Dora had to travel alone on her journey, though she still had Map, Backpack, and the viewer at home to help her out on her quest. She also had additional help from the Giant-Giant on the 2^nd test, the Sun from the Sunshine Bag on the 3^rd test, and friends Benny, Isa, Tico, and even the Explorer Stars on the 4^th test.
• At one point, he snores really loud, which causes the Seven Dwarves cover their ears.
• He is similar to Sleeping Beauty from the fairytale of the same name.
• Boots became Sleeping Boots after being tricked into eating a magic banana by the mean witch who is disguised as a tree.
• The Seven Dwarves said "Hurry, Princesa Dora!" and the last leaf starts to fall off the wall, And Dora asks the viewer to wake up Boots fast.
• When Dora hugs Boots, The last leaf falls from the wall, and Sleeping Boots' red pajamas disappear, And turns back into Boots.
• He made a flashback appearance in Dora Saves Fairytale Land when Dora mentioned him about the time saving him in Dora's Fairytale Adventure.
