Summary[]
Diego and Baby Jaguar need to rescue a pair of Red-Eyed Tree Frogs who are stuck on a branch in a rapid river. But they are going to need the viewer's help.
Plot[]
Diego and Baby Jaguar are playing when they overhear two red-eyed tree frogs, who have fallen in the river and are heading for a waterfall. They head out to save the tree frogs, first going across the Muddy Mud Pit, then jumping past the Cha-Cha Coconut Trees, and finally using his suction-cup sticky gloves to climb up a pyramid. Diego and Baby Jaguar go through the pyramid looking for the tree frogs and follow them down a waterslide by transforming Rescue Pack into a rubber raft. After riding down the waterslide, they head down the river and reach the tree frogs and catch them just before they head over the waterfall. Diego then returns them to the rainforest, where Alicia has found a new home with red-eyed tree frog friends.
Animal sound of the Red-Eyed Tree Frog[]
- Ribbit, ribbit!
Facts learned about Red-Eyed Tree Frogs[]
- A red-eyed tree frog has red eyes, hence its name, not purple eyes because then it'd be called a purple-eyed tree frog.
- A tree frog lives in the rainforest, not the city because frogs are wild animals.
- To help it climb, a tree frog uses its toes, not its nose because their toes look like suction cups.
- A tree frog hops using its strong legs, not a pogo stick because frogs are too small.

Trivia[]
- This episode uses the Nick Jr. Productions Puddle Logo from 2005-2008 on TV/VHS/DVD instead of the 1999-2005 Nick Jr. Productions Logo, and this is the first episode to do so. This is also the first show to use that, as all Go, Diego, Go! episodes from seasons 1-3 (2005-2008) use the 2005-2009 Nick Jr. Productions logo. As a matter of fact, none of the Go, Diego, Go! episodes use the 1999-2005 Nick Jr Productions logo at all, since the 2005-2009 logo first debuted on the Dora the Explorer episode Dora and Diego to the Rescue!.
- This episode could be Diego's version of El Coquí (both involve singing frogs).
- This is the first episode of Go, Diego, Go!.
- However, despite being the first episode of the series, it is actually the 4th produced. It is also map produced in 2005, likely early 2005, a few months prior to the premiere.
- This episode premiered at 8:00pm eastern time on Nickelodeon rather than of airing on the Nick Jr. block.
- This episode premiered on Treehouse TV in Canada a day after it premiered on Nickelodeon in the United States.
- In Nick Jr. May 3 2017, During the hello segment.

- This episode premiered the same day as the premiere of Dora the Explorer episode Dora and Diego to the Rescue! as a great honor.
- Additionally, Nick Jr. aired a Dora the Explorer marathon to promote the primetime premiere of this show, with that episode's premiere at 1:30pm being the last one on the schedule. The other episodes during the marathon (in order) were Meet Diego!, Baseball Boots, Boots' Special Day, Dora Saves the Game, Big Sister Dora, Super Babies, Catch the Babies, Job Day, and The Super Silly Fiesta.
- Coincidentally, all of the those episodes feature Diego in them (with the exception of Super Babies).

- Unlike in Dora the Explorer, Diego is now voiced by Jake T. Austin in this show, succeeding brothers Andres and Felipe Dieppa, and Gabriel Alvarez. He already made his debut as Diego's new voice in Dora and Diego to the Rescue!.
- He would continue the role for Seasons 1-3 of Go, Diego, Go!, as well as in Dora Saves the Mermaids and Season 5 of Dora the Explorer.
- Contrary to how Diego's voice by both Andres and Felipe Dieppa, as well as Gabriel Alvarez, were all similar to one another, his voice by Jake T. Austin sounded completely different. When Diego was voiced by the previous three actors, he had a voice similar to that of an adolescent (ages 10-19). However, with Jake T. Austin (and all actors succeeding him) taking over, Diego now has a higher-pitched, pre-pubescent voice similar to that of a young child, mostly likely to fit his age of 8.
- Starting with this episode, Alicia is voiced by Constanza Sperakis. She made her debut in Big Sister Dora.
- Baby Jaguar is still voiced by Thomas Sharkey, but this is the first episode where one gets to hear him speak (second in production order, first being Diego Saves Baby Humpback Whale). He previously meowed and growled during Seasons 3-4 of Dora the Explorer.
- This is the only episode where Diego has to clap 3 times before saying "Freeze, Bobos!" to stop the Bobo Brothers. It will never be used again for the rest of the series.
- A clip from this episode appears in the online game, "Diego's Field Journal".
- In this episode, Diego's "Come on, say it with me!", "Say it louder!" and "Everybody scream!" lines in the Animal end song are different.
- In Rainforest Rhapsody, the Red Eyed Tree Frogs will say a different sound, which is "Ruk-ruk!".
