The Replacement Map is an item that Dora created which she and Boots used exclusively during the time Map was taken by a bird.
Description[]
While not explicitly named in the episode, its purpose was to temporarily act as Map for the adventure since he was taken to the top of Tallest Mountain by the Big Silly Bird, and; therefore, was absent. Unlike Map, it is a non-living, non-anthropomorphic object, meaning it doesn't move, talk, or possess any features found on an animal, such as eyes or a mouth. Inversely, its only similarity to him is the three location structure drawn by Dora in blue crayon. It features the Butterfly Garden, the Cornfield, and the Tallest Mountain as the locations during that adventure.

Is this Map?
The Replacement Map is extremely simplistic in design, only being comprised of white paper and blue crayon (supplies from Dora's Art Box) to emulate Map's Map. When unrolled, it's about as large as Dora's torso.
