• A three-banded armadillo has a strong shell to protect itself, not wings.
• A three-banded armadillo digs because armadillos have claws to dig. They can't swing from trees like monkeys do.
• A three-banded armadillo is afraid of a maned wolf, not a tree frog because maned wolves eat armadillos.
• To hide from scary animals, like maned wolves, a three-banded armadillo rolls into a ball, not a rolling pin.

Trivia

• Rescue Pack doesn't say "bicycle," he instead calls it a "bike."
  • This is mainly because "bike" is a more simpler name than "bicycle."
    • This previously occurred in Three Little Condors.
• This episode premiered the same day as the Jack's Big Music Show episode The Music Genie.
• This is the first episode where the Al Rescate/Una Adventura song is not sung. It was replaced by the new song, "Win the Race" and it was sung twice.
• During the animal end song:
  • Diego doesn't say "Excelente," he instead says "Yay!".
  • Instead of the animal sound towards the end, Diego helps Armadillo roll into a ball and says "Roll, roll!" eight times.
    • This is because three-banded armadillos don't make a sound.
• Click, Baby Jaguar, and the Bobo Brothers don't appear in this episode.
  • However, Armadillo takes Baby Jaguar's place as Diego's assistant.
• This episode was the first episode to appear on a Nickelodeon compilation DVD, being All Star Sports Day!. It can also be found in the DVD Ready, Set, Go!.
• This could be Diego's version of We're a Team!, although while it first released in the namesake VHS and DVD in August 2006, it did not premiere until two years later in August 2008 (both involves teams and racing).
  • This could also apply to Diego's International Rescue League.
• Diego's animation before the Rescue Pack segment is recycled from Rescue of the Red-Eyed Tree Frogs!.
• This is the first episode of Go, Diego, Go! to be produced after the production of Dora's Dance to the Rescue from the main show was finished.
• An episode of the Dora reboot would share the same name of this episode 19 years later.
