The Explorer Stars are giggly star friends who live inside Dora's star pocket. When Dora goes on her adventures, the stars would be around waiting to be catched. The Explorer Stars would also help Dora on her adventures. When Abuela gave Dora her star pocket, she immediately became a star catcher in the flashback episode.
Appearances[]
The stars appeared in the Season 2 episode The Lost City, almost every episode of Season 3 and some of Season 4. They did not appear in Dora's Big Birthday Adventure at Dora's birthday party. However, if they did, it would most likely be all the stars listed below that would appear at the party.
Explorer Stars[]
Saltador[]
Saltador is the super jumping Explorer Star. His ability is to jump really high. If Dora and Boots have to jump over something really tall, he is off to the rescue. He appeared in three episodes: Star Catcher, Save the Puppies!, and Star Mountain.
Glowy[]
Glowy is the bright-light Explorer Star. She comes in handy for seeing in the dark or use her heat to melt ice or goo. She appeared in the episodes Dora Had a Little Lamb, Star Catcher, and Star Mountain. She also appears in the game "Dora's Star Mountain Mini Golf".
Noisy Star[]
Noisy star is the noisiest of the Explorer Stars. Her ability is tooting out loud "honks" like a horn. She does this to alert big animals or does it just for fun. She can also warn Dora and Boots if Swiper is around. She appeared in Star Catcher, Stuck Truck, Dora Saves the Game, Louder!, and Star Mountain.
Switchy[]
Switchy is the shape-shifting Explorer Star. His ability is morphing into different kinds different shapes. He appeared in Star Catcher and Star Mountain. He also appears in the game "Dora's Star Mountain Mini Golf".
Tool Star[]
Tool Star is the Explorer Star who can fix something with all the super-cool tools. He appeared in Roberto the Robot and Star Mountain. He also appears in two online games: "Dora's Pirate Boat Treasure Hunt" and "Dora's Star Mountain Mini Golf".
Rocket Star[]
Rocket Star is the fastest Explorer Star, who helps Dora and Boots go super fast. He appeared in Meet Diego!, Best Friends, and Boots to the Rescue.
Hero Star[]
Hero Star is the strongest of the Explorer Stars. His ability is lifting up heavy objects, similar to Supra, Ultra, and Mega Star, he is most likely stronger than them. He appeared in Dora's Pirate Adventure and Star Mountain. He also appeared in a flashback in the episode Star Catcher when Abuela caught him when she was younger.
Woo-Hoo[]
Woo-Hoo is the peek-a-boo Explorer Star. He is good at playing hide-and-seek, and is helpful at finding things. He was the first star Dora caught when she got the star pocket from Abuela and became a star catcher. He appeared in The Lost City and Star Catcher.
Funny Star[]
Funny Star is the super silly Explorer Star. He loves to pull funny faces and make people laugh and giggle. He was the only Explorer Star never called upon to help Dora and Boots. His only appearance is in The Super Silly Fiesta.
Artista[]
Artista is the colorful writing Explorer Star. She can draw shapes in the air. She appeared in the episode "Boots' Special Day".
Sliparooni[]
Sliparooni is the slippery Explorer Star. He slides everywhere and can scrub things that are dirty and make them clean again. He appeared in ¡Por Favor! and The Shy Rainbow.
Mágico[]
Mágico is the magic wizard Explorer Star. He is full of magic tricks and can disappear and reappear in many places. He appeared in The Big Potato.
Disco Star[]
Disco Star is a disco Explorer Star. He has all different kinds of tunes for a great party. He even spins like a disco ball. He appeared in The Fix-it Machine and Boo!.
Spy Star[]
Spy Star is the undercover Explorer Star. His ability is being a super spy. He is really good at sneaking up on people, and has a lot of cool super spy gadgets. He appeared in Dora's Got a Puppy and Super Spies 2: The Swiping Machine.
Helada[]
Helada is the icy Explorer Star who can make snow. She can also create ice sculptures and manipulate the ice and snow into whatever form she wants. She appeared in To the South Pole.
Movie Star[]
Movie Star is light blue and he has a hairdo and sunglasses as he puts his hands on his hips and he looks so cool while watching a movie into action from the theater of the crowd. He appeared in Job Day.

Navy Star is an Explorer Star whose job is being in the Navy. He appeared in Job Day.
Baker Star[]
Baker Star is an Explorer Star whose job is being a baker. Job Day was his only appearance.
Baseball Star[]
Baseball Star is in a baseball costume and has a cap on his head while going into the backyard to play baseball. He appeared in Baseball Boots and Job Day.
Policia Star[]
Policia Star is an Explorer Star whose job is being a police officer. She appeared in Job Day.
Cowgirl Star[]
Cowgirl Star is an Explorer Star who's pink and she has a cowgirl hat and eyelashes and cheeky lips and she yells like, "Yee-hah!", while raising her hat and moving it and it goes back on her head. She appeared in Job Day.
Comfy Star[]
Comfy Star is the comfy Explorer Star. Her ability is to cheer up sad people and she also cuddles with children. She appeared in Boots' Cuddly Dinosaur.
Fairy Star[]
Fairy Star is a magic Explorer Star. Just like Magico, her is to magically make things appear with a magic wand. She appeared in the episode Dora's Fairytale Adventure. She even turned Dora back into a princess at the end of the aforementioned episode.
Super, Ultra, and Mega Star[]
Supra, Ultra, and Mega are the three super strong Explorer Stars. Their power is super strength, similar to Hero Star. They appeared in the episode Baby Dino.
Gusty Star[]
Gusty Star is an Explorer Star whose power is being able to create strong winds. He appeared in the episode "What Happens Next?".
Colored Explorer Stars[]
Red Star[]
Red Star is a star that has been caught in almost every episode in Season 3. There are only two episodes (Boo! and Job Day) where red star has not been caught.
Blue Star[]
Blue Star is a star that was caught in The Lost City, Star Catcher, Meet Diego!, Stuck Truck, Roberto the Robot, The Big Potato, Save the Puppies!, The Fix-it Machine, Baby Dino, Baseball Boots, Boots' Special Day, Dora Saves the Game, The Super Silly Fiesta, and Best Friends.

A Green Star does exist, as it appears at the end of some episodes. However, Dora and Boots never actually catch one in any episodes.
