Trivia[]

  • While the main episodes have images on the menu, the bonus episodes don't; this will continue with all subsequent DVDs until the bonus episodes are introduced with images in Cowgirl Dora, before being put to permanent use as of It's A Party.
  • This video was released on February 4, 2003 by Paramount Home Video and Nickelodeon. Same with the DVD.
  • The copyright year on the DVD reads "2002", meaning that it was produced in 2002 then released in 2003.
  • The DVD lists as Three Little Piggies and Lost and Found episodes from To the Rescue VHS with the same descriptions.
  • This is the first VHS to have the Nick Jr. Kids Opening and Closing Bumpers (Dora the Explorer variant), with the Little Bear scenes being replaced by Dora the Explorer scenes. However, the Little Bear variant would be seen two more times in the Blue's Clues: 100th Episode Celebration VHS and Little Bear: Feel Better, Little Bear VHS.
  • This is the only video to have Nickelodeon Logo after Nick Jr. Productions (1999).
  • Coincidentally, the first episode ends on the Tallest Mountain and the second starts on the aforementioned location. It is possible that the second takes place directly after the first.
  • The Nick Jr. logo is seen at the end of every other Dora the Explorer VHS, but that is not the case with this VHS, only the Nickelodeon and Paramount Home Video logos are shown.
  • This was the first DVD to have Nick Jr. Trampoline ID Bumper.
  • This is the third VHS where Swiper is stopped in both episodes after To the Rescue and Dora Saves the Prince. It will happen once more in Rhymes and Riddles.
    • Additionally, he was stopped in all four episodes on this DVD and he did not swipe at least once.
  • The Face Wants to Have a Pet segment was previously seen on the 2001 VHS of Blue's Clues: "Playtime With Periwinkle".
  • The previews from this VHS are the same as Blue's Clues: Blue's Big Band 2003 VHS.
