Find out when Diego and Manatee jump into a book and swim from the forest river to the salty ocean to save Mermaid City!

Manatee Facts[]
- Manatees live in both the ocean and in rivers. They do not live in the grasslands because there's no water.
- Manatees have flat tails that help them swim. They do not have shells.
- Manatees love to eat lots of sea plants, not eggs because they're herbivores.
- Manatees are afraid of crocodiles, not seahorses.
- Manatees have small eyes, so they can't see in the dark.
Animal Puzzle with Questions[]

Trivia[]
- This is Mariana's first and only appearance on Go, Diego, Go!. This is also the last time she is voiced by Gabriela Aisenberg before she can voice Alicia in Seasons 4-5.
- This is the second time Mas Abajo was sung, first being Diego and Baby Humpback to the Rescue.
- During the animal end song, Diego doesn't say "Excelente!", he instead says "Yay!".
- After completing the puzzle during "Let's Review", Diego doesn't say "We solved the puzzle", he instead says "We've finished the puzzle".
- This episode would be considered Diego's version of the main show's episode "Dora Saves the Mermaids", as it serves as a stand-alone sequel to that episode.
- Click does not look for animals in this episode, she instead looks at various places until she finds Mermaid City.
- Diego doesn't use Rescue Pack in this episode.
- Baby Jaguar and the Bobo Brothers don't appear in this episode.
- This is the third episode where Diego sings both the Al Rescate song and the Una Adventura song within the same episode. The previous two were Baby Jaguar to the Rescue and Diego the Hero.
- This is the eighth episode where Rescue Rope is used.
- This is the second time Diego jumps into a book after Diego's Great Dinosaur Rescue, just like Dora and Boots do in the main show, and the stars of fellow Nick Jr. show, Blue's Clues with their "skidoo" segments.
- This episode premiered on Noggin exactly 2 years after Diego Saves the Baby River Dolphin.
- Although it premiered in 2008 on DVD and Nickelodeon and 2009 on Noggin, it was produced in 2007 according to the credits.
Goofs/Errors[]
- While Diego and Manatee are sliding down to get to the ocean, Manatee did say, "Whee!", but his voice is never heard until it was heard when Diego and Manatee say, "Whee!" one more time before reaching to the ocean.
- During the Al Rescate song, there are what look to be bottlenose dolphins seen in a freshwater river.
