Trivia[]
- This episode aired on the same day Dora and the Lost City of Gold was released in theaters.
- This episode may be considered a "backdoor pilot" for Dora and Friends: Into the City!, or a flashback.
- This is the first episode in which Naiya and Alana, two of the Explorer Girls in Dora and Friends: Into the City! are present. Dora has met Kate and Emma, in past episodes, but this is the first episode where the five are seen together, excluding the official pilot of the new series, "Our First Concert".
- However, as the characters were younger, they are wearing different outfits compared to their outfits in Dora and Friends: Into the City!.
- Dora doesn’t sing the Travel Song in this episode, never without Boots or with her other friends. She instead sings "Going to the Music School" with Kate and Emma.
- This is the last Dora the Explorer episode to premiere in 2019.
- Isa, Tico, Boots, and Backpack don’t appear in this episode.
- Swiper appears in a piano disguise for the second time, the first time it happened in Dora, La Música.
- After passing Drum Mountain, the Fiesta Trio play their fanfare on conga drums instead of their actual instruments.
- This is the last episode in which the "We Did It" song has different instrumentals, the first two being Dora's Moonlight Adventure and Dora and the Very Sleepy Bear, as the class plays the song with their instruments while Dora, Emma and Kate sing it. However, in La Maestra de Música, the class dance along to it instead.
- This was the final episode to air in the US, but there are more episodes to air. This was also the series finale, too but it's not ending anytime soon.
- Kate is voiced by Sofia Singer in this episode. Whereas in Dora Saves the Crystal Kingdom, she was voiced by Cassady Leonard.
- The early Season 1 version of swiping music is used.
- This is the final appearance of Dora's Season 7-8 base outfit.
- For the movie Dora and the Lost City of Gold and the upcoming reboots for Paramount+, Dora reverts back to her Season 1-6 outfit. It'll still be the cartoon from that show.
- Although this episode premiered in 2015 (Philippines) and 2019 (Nick Jr US), it was produced in 2013 according to the credits.
