Trivia[]
- The VHS and DVD premiered exactly 4 years after The Chocolate Tree premiered.
- This is the first DVD release to offer a French audio option.
- However, it does not offer a Spanish audio option. Only English and French.
- This is the first Dora VHS and DVD to use the Blue's Room trailer.
- This is the first Dora DVD where the Bonus Episodes section was renamed to an additional Episode Selection, and the first to feature images for their respective selections.
- The "Bonus Episodes" option on the episode selection has been renamed to "More".
- On the VHS tape copy, the Paramount Television 1987 fanfare is heard on the Paramount logo after Dora's Backpack Adventure.
- The four episodes on the DVD are from each respective season of the series. This is the only time where this happens.
- Unlike other DVDs where French audio is also available, none of the episodes (except for The Fix-it Machine) use their respective International intros, and instead only use the normal intro with the Nick Jr. Butterflies present and with text (on the Season 1-2 International intro, the logo is removed and replaced with a Nickelodeon Butterfly logo. For the Season 3-4 International intros, the Nick Jr. Butterflies are kept, but they are blank, and the same Nickelodeon Butterfly from the Season 1-2 International intro appears). On DVDs with other language audio, the International intros are used, but this is not the case with this DVD.
