Trivia[]
- The characters' Halloween costumes are as follows:
- Dora is dressed as a bumblebee.
- Tico dressed up as this back in the episode Boo!.
- Additionally, Dora's aunt/Diego's mother dressed as a bumblebee back in the Go, Diego, Go! episode Freddie the Fruit Bat Saves Halloween!.
- Tico dressed up as this back in the episode Boo!.
- Boots is dressed as a rocket ship.
- Little Monster is dressed as half a bumblebee and rocket ship.
- Pirate Pig is dressed as the Gingerbread Man.
- Isa is dressed as a Monarch butterfly.
- Big Red Chicken, Benny and Tico are dressed as firefighters.
- Diego is dressed as a dinosaur.
- Baby Jaguar is dressed as a giraffe.
- Grumpy Old Troll is dressed as a clown.
- Map is dressed as a blue crayon.
- This is may be because of a homage in which Map was seen in blue instead of cream in some of his Character Finds.
- The Fiesta Trio is first dressed as the Mariachi band after The Shy Rainbow, then they dressed as pieces of fruit.
- The frog is dressed as an apple, the grasshopper is dressed as a banana, and the snail is dressed as an orange.
- Petunia is dressed as a princess.
- Dora is dressed as a bumblebee.
- Swiper and Señor Tucán are the only ones not dressed as anything, but Swiper is seen wearing a moon costume.
- Additionally, Swiper's "Oh, man!" is recycled from The Grumpy Old Troll Gets Married.
- Little Monster is shown crying in this episode.
- This is the 133rd episode of the show.
- When Dora and Boots go to the troll bridge and the Grumpy Old Troll coming out from under his bridge, he does not sing his I'm the Grumpy Old Troll song and does not say "Solve my riddle" after that either. Instead, he just scares them with a "BOO!".
- When Dora is asking the viewer to help stop Swiper, the audio is taken from The Grumpy Old Troll Gets Married.
- Dora and Boots don’t sing the Travel Song in this episode, they instead sing about Little Monster getting a Halloween costume for himself at the Halloween parade and saying what their friends are for Halloween on the way.
- Swiper doesn't wear a costume in this episode. He probably doesn't really want be anything for Halloween and just wants to go as himself. However, he was dressing up as a pirate and he did love Halloween in the previous Halloween episode "Boo!".
- This episode premiered exactly 8 years after Boots' Special Day.
- During Map's segment, Map refers to the Troll Bridge as the “Spooky Bridge.” He wanted the Grumpy Old Troll to surprise the characters who checked him on Halloween. After the reveal, Dora refers to the bridge as the “Spooky Troll Bridge".
- This episode is a Halloween sequel after the Halloween episode from the third season "Boo!".
- This episode premiered on Nick Jr. exactly on Halloween of 2011.
- Additionally, this was exactly 6 years after the Noggin premiere of Boo! (which premiered exactly on Halloween in 2005).
- Opening with a jump-cut and ending with a westward shift, the YouTube version speeds up the credits and cloud scenes but the Nickelodeon logo is normal-speed and plays its own theme.
- As of October 9, 2023, when this show was pulled from the Nick Jr. Channel's lineup (until briefly returning on November 20), this was the last episode to be broadcast.
Goofs/Errors[]
- Boots says that Swiper is going to swipe their costumes, even though they stopped him which they are lucky, but it is impossible for him to swipe their costumes because they're wearing them and he can't swipe their costumes from them if they're doing such.
