      • Additionally, Dora's aunt/Diego's mother dressed as a bumblebee back in the Go, Diego, Go! episode Freddie the Fruit Bat Saves Halloween!.
  • Boots is dressed as a rocket ship.

• Swiper doesn't wear a costume in this episode. He probably doesn't really want be anything for Halloween and just wants to go as himself. However, he was dressing up as a pirate and he did love Halloween in the previous Halloween episode "Boo!".
• This episode premiered exactly 8 years after Boots' Special Day.
• During Map's segment, Map refers to the Troll Bridge as the “Spooky Bridge.” He wanted the Grumpy Old Troll to surprise the characters who checked him on Halloween. After the reveal, Dora refers to the bridge as the “Spooky Troll Bridge".
• This episode is a Halloween sequel after the Halloween episode from the third season "Boo!".
• This episode premiered on Nick Jr. exactly on Halloween of 2011.
  • Additionally, this was exactly 6 years after the Noggin premiere of Boo! (which premiered exactly on Halloween in 2005).
• Opening with a jump-cut and ending with a westward shift, the YouTube version speeds up the credits and cloud scenes but the Nickelodeon logo is normal-speed and plays its own theme.

Goofs/Errors

• Boots says that Swiper is going to swipe their costumes, even though they stopped him which they are lucky, but it is impossible for him to swipe their costumes because they're wearing them and he can't swipe their costumes from them if they're doing such.
