Summary[]
Diego joins his friend Juma back in Africa to search for two missing baby Mountain Gorillas who are going to be crowned king! Will you help find the future Gorilla Kings?

- Diego does not use Rescue Pack in this episode.
- During the animal end song, Diego doesn't say, "Excelente". He instead says, "Yay!".
- After completing the puzzle during the Let's Review segment, Diego doesn't say, "We solved the puzzle", he instead says, "We've finished the puzzle".
- Juma says "See you soon!" at the end because Alicia did not appear.
- This is one of few episodes where Diego returns to where he started the adventure.
- This is Juma's second appearance in the series, following Diego's Safari Rescue. He will appear once more in Diego's International Rescue League.
- Baby Jaguar, Alicia, Rescue Pack, Rescue Rope and the Bobo Brothers don't appear in this episode.
- This Safari episode is a sequel to the Season 2 special, Safari Rescue.
