Trivia[]
- This is the second episode where "Excava" is sung after Rainforest Race.
- Diego does not use Rescue Pack in this episode.
- This episode could be a reason why Val the Octopus never appeared in Go, Diego, Go!. There is already a friendly octopus in the show.
- Diego's Rescue Submarine will return in An Underwater Mystery, which is the next episode after this.
- However, if going by production order, it would be the other way around (said episode being the previous produced).
- This episode could be Diego's version of Fish Out of Water.
- Although this is an underwater episode, Diego does not wear his scuba gear. This is because he never gets out of the submarine in this episode.
- Click does not look for animal sounds, she instead counts the arms of different sea creatures until she finds the right one with eight arms.
- Although it premiered in 2007, it was made in 2006 according to the end credits.
