Trivia[]
- Baby Jaguar appeared on many episodes of Go, Diego, Go!.
- His theoretical name is Sharkey, named after his voice actor Thomas Sharkey.
- Baby Jaguar is Go, Diego, Go!'s equivalent of Boots because he is usually Diego's best friend like Boots is Dora's best friend.
- He is the only forest friend character to physically age in the Dora and Friends: Into the City!. All of the other forest friends remain the same design in the original series.
- Baby Jaguar did not talk during Seasons 3 and 4 on Dora the Explorer (all he does is meows and sometimes roars), but did on Go, Diego, Go! and later episodes of Dora the Explorer. However, he technically first spoke on Dora the Explorer in Dora's World Adventure!.
- Baby Jaguar appeared in the Dora and Friends: Into the City episode "For the Birds". In this episode, he's grown into an adolescent jaguar and is now called Jaguar instead of "Baby" Jaguar because he is not young anymore.
- For some odd reason in "For the Birds" Jaguar's tail is white on the end. Unlike the original series, the tip of his tail was brown.
- Koda Gursoy, who did the voice of Boots from Dora the Explorer in Season 8, also voices this character in Dora and Friends: Into the City!.
- Rescue, Rescue, Rescue is the only episode where he appears without Diego.
- In Boots' Special Day, Baby Jaguar did not appear in person, but he did appear in the picture map.
- He never appeared in any Season 1-2 episodes (excluding the intro of Whose Birthday is It?).
- Although Baby Jaguar is completely absent in Dora and the Lost City of Gold, a stuffed jaguar plush appears as a homage to him.
- In ABC Animals, there was a jaguar that resembles him. It is possible that he is part of his family.
- His first voice actor, Thomas Sharkey, also does the singing voice of Austin from the Nickelodeon show, The Backyardigans and Shovel from season 6 of Blue's Clues.
