Trivia[]
- Benny, Tico, Isa, Backpack and Swiper don't appear in this episode.
- However, Pech takes Swiper's place as an antagonist, also Swiper is listed in the credits had he only appeared on his good side like in The Lost City.
- If Swiper ever appeared on this episode, he will most like play the role of a supporting character like in The Lost City.
- Additionally, much like the Witch from Dora Saves the Prince, Señor Shush from Dora, La Música, the Dog Catcher from Save the Puppies!, Pirate Pig from Dora's Pirate Adventure (Pirate Pig and his crew's only appearances as antagonists), the Prince of Cloud Castle from Star Catcher, the Dancing Elf from Dora's Dance to the Rescue, and the Garbage Octopus from Dora Saves the Mermaids, Pech reforms himself and is forgiven by Dora, Boots, Hoon and Balan for his actions.
- This is the 105th episode of the show.
- The background/art style used for this episode (in the storybook) is from Go, Diego, Go!.
- It is unknown how the Fiesta Trio got into the book.
- This is the first episode to not have the Nick Jr. logo above the show's logo on the theme song. The Nick Jr. logo will return to be above the show's logo in Dora Saves Three Kings Day, Bark, Bark to Play Park and First Day of School due to those episodes being produced before this one.
- The Travel Song is replaced by Going to the Ball Game.
- The Pyramids appeared in this episode is a Mesoamerican pyramid.
- The Ball Game is a reference to the Mesoamerican ball game, known in modern days as the Ōllamaliztli/Ulama or the Tlachtli.
- Backpack is not used in this episode.
- Dora mentions that Pech is sneaky. Thus making him the second sneaky character in the series after Swiper.
- Dora breaks the fourth wall in this episode. The viewer was counted as the fifth player.
- This is the second Season 5 episode where the Fiesta Trio do not play their extended fanfare to start We Did It!, the first being Benny's Big Race.
- During the We Did It! song, the instrumental is taken from To the Monkey Bars.
Goofs/Errors[]
- When Dora jumps into the book, she is not seen in her casual garments.
- During We Did It!, following the second verse, Boots sings the second "We did it!", but Dora's mouth moves instead.
- The voice actors of Hoon, Balan and Pech are not listed in the credits, which means that it is unknown who voiced them.
- On international airings of the episode, it has the Seasons 3-4 opening sequence with the Explorer Stars and the Star Pocket with the Seasons 5-6 intro's audio playing, despite the Explorer Stars being completely abandoned and the Star Pocket not appearing anymore as of this season. However, the Nickelodeon splat logo that was used on international prints of this season (replacing the butterfly) is still present.
