[This episode starts with Dora standing in the middle of a path.]
¡Hola! What's up, Dora?!
She has a question for you: "Do you like snacks?"
Feel free to tell her your thoughts!
And speaking of snacks, she has one right now! "Look what my Mami gave me for a snack!"
"How many blueberries did my Mami give me?"
Looks like she's not alone!
"Blueberries, blueberries,
"Boots likes blueberries, too!"
He sure does! "OOH-OOH-AAH-AAH!"
"Can I have some? Can I have some? Can I have some?!"
I'm sorry, I ate them all." (She ate them when showing them to you just before!)
That wasn't what Boots wanted to hear! "OH...!"
Boots is about to cry until…
Dora cheers him up and says that they can get more blueberries.
She said that they can go on a berry hunt and find more blueberries!
Boots feels all better! "OOH! OOH! OOH! AAH! AAH! AAH!"
"We need my little blue pail
so we can carry the blueberries as we pick."
Will you check my Backpack to find the little blue pail for the blueberries?
You have to say, "Backpack".
Say "Backpack", say "Backpack"!
"I have LOTS of pails!" says Backpack. "But Dora wants her little blue pail to carry the blueberries!" First let’s find all the pails that are blue.
Is this a blue pail? (No, that's a yellow pail.)
Great! Now, which pail is the LITTLE blue pail?
All right! You found the little blue pail!
"Where do we go, Dora? Where do we go?!"
Where do we go to find blueberries?
Let's stop and think. Who do we ask for help
when we don't know which way to go?
Boots knows! "The Map! The Map!"
The Map, right! The Map can tell us where to go to find blueberries!
Will you check the Map to see where to go to find blueberries?
Let’s see what he has to say…!
"Dora and Boots want to know where to go to find blueberries!" says Map. "Well, I know where to find blueberries..." Where?
"Blueberry Hill!" Listen carefully to the instructions!
To get to Blueberry Hill, first, you go across the Icy Cold River!
Then go through the Prickly Forest!
And that’s how you'll get to Blueberry Hill!
But watch out for Swiper the Fox; he lives on Blueberry Hill!
(HOOP!)
So here's what you tell Dora: River, Forest, Blueberry Hill!
How do we get to the blueberries?
River, Forest, Blueberry Hill!
First we go across the Icy Cold River.
Then we go through the Prickly Forest.
And that's how we'll get to Blueberry Hill! But we have to watch out for Swiper the Fox; he lives on Blueberry Hill!
"I'm Dora, the blueberry hunter!"
"I'm Boots, the blueberry hunter!"
Okay, first we need to find the Icy Cold River!
Do you see the river? Where?!
"LET'S GO GET THE BLUEBERRIES!"
River, Forest, Blueberry Hill!
River, Forest, Blueberry Hill!
River, Forest, Blueberry Hill!
River, Forest, Blueberry Hill!
Boots repeats. Going on a berry hunt.
Gonna pick some juicy ones.
Boots repeats. Gonna pick some juicy ones.
Boots repeats. We're not scared!
And they both say the last line together. What a BEAUUUUTIFUL day!
"Could you say it with us? Here we go!"
Gonna pick some juicy ones.
Gonna pick some juicy ones.
There's the Icy Cold River!"
"Dora, how are we going to get across it?"
"How can we get ACROSS it?"
"Do you see something that can help us across the Icy Cold River?"
"Will you help us row across the Icy Cold River?"
"Put your hands out in front of you, and…"
Row, row, row! Row, row, row!
Here's the Fiesta Trio on an ice floe.
"We made it across the Icy Cold River!"
I can't WAIT to eat those blueberries!" said Boots.
"I can't wait either!" said Dora.
"Blueberries are sweet and juicy!" (They sure are!)
"Where do we go next? Where do we go next?!"
We made it across the river! So next, we have to go through...?
The forest, right! The Prickly Forest!
Do you see the Prickly Forest?
Come on, say it with us! [The following sequence is the same until the next line.]
"Let's say it REALLY loud!"
Gonna pick some juicy ones!
Gonna pick some juicy ones!
What a BEAUUUUTIFUL day! [The following scene is the same as before.]
Gonna pick some juicy ones.
Gonna pick some juicy ones.
Gonna pick some juicy ones...
Gonna pick some juicy ones...
"NOW REALLY, REALLY, REALLY LOUD!!"
GONNA PICK SOME JUICY ONES!
GONNA PICK SOME JUICY ONES!
(both laughing) Looks like they had fun saying it in different ways!
Look! We made it to the Prickly Forest!
Prickers and thorns! (YIKES!)
They could STICK us! (THAT would hurt!)
How can we get OVER the prickers and thorns?
Do you see anything that can get us over the prickers and thorns?
"We need your help. Will you help us swing over the prickers and thorns?"
Now, swing your arms back and forth!
The Fiesta Trio swung over the prickers and thorns, too!
"We made it over the Prickly Forest! Good swinging!"
We went across the river; we swung over the forest; so next comes...?
Blueberry Hill! Right!
Do you see Blueberry Hill?
"Blueberries! Here we come!"
"Sweet, juicy blueberries!"
Boots tries to open it. But it laughs! "WHOA!" it said. It doesn't work.
Uh, gate? We need you to open."
"Boots, the gate speaks Spanish. So we have to say, 'abre'."
One more time! Say, "abre"!
"Come on! Let's go get some
But Dora doesn't want Boots to get TOO excited, because she remembers Map's warning from before. "But watch out for Swiper the Fox; He lives on Blueberry Hill!"
(ANOTHER travel song?!) Come on, say it with us!
River, Forest, Blueberry Hill! River, Forest,
River, Forest, Blueberry Hill! River, Forest, Blueberry Hill!
"You say what I say. Say it fast!"
Gonna pick some juicy ones!
Gonna pick some juicy ones!
Gonna-pick-some-juicy-ones!
Gonna-pick-some-juicy-ones!
"We made it to Blueberry Hill!"
"BLUEBERRIES, BLUEBERRIES, BLUEBERRIES!!"
"But where ARE the blueberries?"
"Do YOU see the blueberries?"
"Yeah, there are the blueberries!" (A little too loud, Boots!)
Dora is alarmed.
(whispers) "Boots, QUIET!"
(loudly) BLUEBERRIES, BLUEBERRIES, BLUEBERRIES!"
Boots is being too loud so Dora told him to be quiet (for an important reason).
"MMM! YUMMY!" yelled Boots.
("BOOTS!") "I LOVE BLUEBERRIES!"
(whispers) "Dora, I love blueberries!"
"Me too, Boots, but we have to be very quiet!"
Here's the reason why: "We don't want Swiper to hear us!"
"He lives right around here!"
Now Boots understands. (*whispering angrily* That's right, Boots! We're on the enemy's home turf now! So unless you want to alert Swiper of our presence on his property, I suggest you keep all your activity to a minimum!)
"Swiper lives in a foxhole. Do you see any holes in the ground?"
"Yeah, there's his foxhole!"
"We better hurry and pick the blueberries!"
"Help us count the blueberries as we pick them."
(loudly) "15 SWEET, JUICY BLUEBERRIES!!!!!"
(whispering) "Mmm, yummy."
"Thanks for helping us count."
"Come on, Boots! Let's get outta here before Swiper sees us!"
"Yeah, that sneaky fox! He'll try to swipe our blueberries!"
Just to be on the safe side... "If you see the fox, yell, 'SWIPER!'."
"You see Swiper? Where?!"
(He disappeared!)
"In his foxhole?"
"I don't see him!" said Boots.
"Me neither!" said Dora. (Did YOU see him?)
He comes back out when they're not looking. (SWIPER!!)
There he is! "SWIPER!!!!" (QUIET TIME'S OVER, KIDS!)
"We need your help to stop Swiper! You have to say "Swiper, no swiping!" Say it with us!"
He's hopping back down to his hole.
Yay! At least they stopped Swiper at his home, that's the good news.
"Thanks for helping us stop Swiper."
Boots wants to know if they can eat the blueberries now.
"You bet we can, Boots!"
(What in the name of candied yams?)
But the bad news is they're not completely out of danger yet. They don't see someone coming up behind them...
"Mmmm, blueberries!" said Dora.
"Mmmm, blueberries!" said Boots.
"Mmmm, BLUEBERRIES!" said a deep voice.
Dora is stunned. "WHO said that?!"
"MMMM, BLUEBERRIES!" That deep voice is coming from a bear.
"THE BEAR?! WHERE?!"
"Right BEHIND us?!!"
"He's coming after us!" (Look! Now they're being chased!)
"WHAT DO WE DO, WHAT DO WE DO!?!"
Dora said they have to quickly go back to where they came.
Help us open the gate! Yell, "abre"!
"WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOA!!!!!" they screamed.
Here comes the Prickly Forest!"
"The Prickly Forest!" she gasped.
(Sweet science of boxing!)
Help us swing over the prickers and thorns!
Unfortunately, the bear is still after them!
(Fiesta Trio playing their fanfare)
Here comes the Icy Cold River!
"Where's the boat, where's the boat?!"
Help them row across the river!
Put your hands out in front of you and...
(Bear shivers) Boots thinks that because of the icy coldness, he thinks the bear is going to finally give up.
He tells Dora about this. "Dora, wait! This water is SO icy cold, there's NO WAY the bear will swim after us!"
He did it anyway! "The bear is swimming after us!"
Row faster! Row, row, row! Row, row, row!
ROW-ROW-ROW!! ROW-ROW-ROW!! ROW-ROW-ROW-ROW-ROW-ROW-ROW-ROW-ROW-ROW-ROW,
"Is the bear still after us?"
"No, Boots, look! We rowed so fast across the icy river...
and going home!" (Finally!)
Thanks for rowing so fast!
They reviewed what they did. They got the blueberries,
and finally, they successfully got away from the bear! (What a crazy day!)
We crossed the Icy Cold River,
and went through the forest!
We were chased by a bear,
"We had such an exciting berry hunt today!"
"What was your favorite part of the berry hunt?"
Go ahead, share your thoughts!
As always, Dora liked that, too. Let's hear THEIR favorite parts!
rowed so fast across the Icy Cold River! (Where they got away from the bear.)
But, Dora's favorite part happened right after Boots'! She liked when they were eating the blueberries.
"We couldn't have gotten the berries without you!"
Goodbye, guys! Have a great day!
