[Looks like we're at Dora's house today! Hey, guys!]
"¡Hola!" they all said. Who do we have here?
(cooing excitedly) Who else is there?
"And here's my aunt and uncle, tia y tio, (also known as Diego's parents),
"Whenever my family gets together,
we tell the FUNNIEST stories!"
"My favorite silly story is the day
we had to catch the babies!"
"That was funny!" said Mami.
"¡Que día tan chistoso!" ("What a funny day!") Papi replied.
Abuela remembered something. "That was the day I
Boots wants to hear it! "Dora, Dora! PLEASE tell us the silly story about catching the babies!"
Tell it, tell it!" [Note that this is the final time Gabriel Alverez voices Diego; that role will be taken over by Jake T. Austin for
Go, Diego, Go!.]
As does Abuela! "PLEASE, Dora! Tell the story!"
"Do you wanna hear the silly story about the babies?"
"Okay! I'll tell the story!"
I woke up very early." (Look! There's
Perrito!)
"¡Buenos dias! Good morning!"
(babies cooing in distance)
"That sounds like my baby brother and sister!"
Let's check out the window.
She can see their stroller,
Right there in the backyard!
"Look! The babies are trying to reach
"OH, NO! The stroller's moving!"
Dora wakes up her parents for an emergency. "MAMI!!! PAPI!!!"
So they run to the window.
"We have to catch those babies!"
"We have to find out where the stroller is
"I know who can help us!" Dora said.
"Who do we ask for help when we don't know which way to go?"
Papi knows who! "The Map!"
Map can tell us where the babies are rolling!
There he is! Say it so he can spring out of Backpack!
(He can't hear you!) "LOUDER!"
(SPRIIIIIIIING!) All right! Let's see what Map says!
We have to go past the Farm, through the Flowery Garden, and that's how we’ll get to the Gooey Geyser to catch those babies!
"Where are the babies rolling first?" Dora asked.
Quick, tell her what Map said!
"I don't see the farm!" said Papi. Where could it be?
Someone is here to help. "Look, it's Boots!"
in the stroller, and it's
"We gotta CATCH those babies!"
(Time for a travel song with Dora's parents!)
Come on, say it
Farm, Garden, Gooey Geyser!
Farm, Garden, Gooey Geyser!
Farm, Garden, Gooey Geyser!
Farm, Garden, GOOEY GEYSER!
Come on, let's get to it!
I know that we can do it!
Mami will go this way, (Haystack Field)
Papi will go this way, (Silo)
and Dora and Boots will go this way. (Barn)
Oh, no! A horse is blocking our way!
"¡Tengo hambre! Quiero tres manzanas."
"He's hungry for his breakfast, and he won't move 'til he eats tres manzanas."
Do you see las manzanas (the apples)?
The horse munches the apples.
But Papi still needs help!
A pig is blocking Papi's way!
"¡Tengo hambre! Quiero cuatro sandias."
"The pig is hungry, and he won't move 'til he eats cuatro sandias."
Do you see las sandias (the watermelons)?
Enjoy your watermelons, piggy!
Uh-oh, we still have to help Mami!
A sheep is blocking Mami's way!
"¡Tengo hambre! Quiero cinco zanahorias."
"The sheep is hungry. She wants cinco zanahorias."
Do you see las zanahorias (the carrots)?
The Fiesta Trio riding a tractor
"We need to find out where the babies are rolling next!"
SPRIIIIIIING! Up he goes!
"We've gotta CATCH those babies!"
Where are the babies rolling next?
The garden, right! The Flowery Garden!
"They're rolling over the bridge!" said Boots.
"Oh, no! The bridge fell apart!"
"They got across just in time!"
how are WE going to get across?" asked Boots.
"I can help!" said Abuela.
"We HAVE to HURRY!" Boots replied. What should they do?
RUN! "¡CORRAN!" shouted Dora and the family.
"Look! The garden has FOUR paths!"
Here's the four paths. (But where's Isa?)
Dora and Boots will go this way.
(more snoring and more clapping)
"And they're blocking our path!"
"We have to clap our hands to wake up the flowers. Clap your hands!"
"CLAP, CLAP, CLAP, CLAP, CLAP!"
We woke up the clapping flowers!
Whoa! The silly flowers are blocking Abuela's way!
"We won't let you through until you make a silly face!"
To get past the silly flowers, Abuela must make a silly face. (Like how Dora and Boots did to make Mr. Troll laugh?)
Can you make a silly face?
Oh, no! The silly dancing flowers are blocking Papi's way!
"We won't let you through until you do a silly dance!"
Papi has to do a silly dance to get past the dancing flowers
Silly dance! Silly dance! Silly dance!
Yikes! Mami's with the sleeping bees!
"Shhhhh! Don't wake the bees!"
Mami has to be super quiet to get past the sleeping bees so she doesn’t wake them up!
The Fiesta Trio riding a dragonfly
We have to figure out where the babies are going next! Say "Map!"
We went past the barn, check! And through the garden, check! Where is the stroller rolling next?
Tell Dora the babies are rolling towards the Gooey Geyser!
Where are the babies rolling next?
The Gooey Geyser!
Do you see the Gooey Geyser?
Oh, no! These capybaras are blocking our way!
"It's my cousin Diego, ¡mi primo!", said Dora.
(Yep. That's his
Rescue Pack, all right! It can transform back after using the correct item for the rescue.)
To get the capybaras to move, say "Eee, eee, eee!"
The stroller is almost to the Gooey Geyser!
There are 5 paths. "Let's split up!" suggested Papi.
Dora and Boots will go this way
"¡¡¡AYUDENME!!!", the family cried out.
We have to help Abuela swing over the prickers and thorns! To tell Abulela to swing, say: "SWIIIIIIING!"
Mami has to climb the wall! To tell Mami to climb, say "Suba!"
Papi has to jump over the mud puddles! To tell Papi to jump, say "Salte!"
Diego has to crawl under the branches! To tell Diego to crawl, say "Gatea!"
They're almost to the geyser!
But she can't reach it! The stroller is going super fast!
"I need YOUR help to reach the babies! Put your hands out in front of you and reach, reach, REACH!"
the babies' stroller stopped.
"We caught them! We stopped the stroller!"
"The ground's starting to shake!"
"WE'RE starting to shake!"
"The Gooey Geyser's about to go kersploosh!"
We'd better run before we all get gooed by the Gooey Geyser!
Let's see what's going to happen…
Wow, the Gooey Geyser isn’t spurting out goo, it made...
What does Diego have? Bubbles for the babies!
"The babies LOVE bubbles!" said Dora. (They really do.)
The Fiesta Trio riding on bubbles. The frog and grasshopper are in pink bubbles and the snail is in a blue one.
KERSPLOOSH!!! Here come more bubbles!
We did it, we did it, we did it!
When we fed the animals, they moved out of our way!
The geyser made bubbles that were pink and blue.
And we caught the babies, thanks to you!
"That was a really silly story about my family. What was YOUR favorite part of the story?"
Boots likes the part when Abuela swung over the prickers and thorns.
Even Abuela thought it was hilarious. "¡Si! That was so silly!" she said.
Dora likes the part when Papi danced with the silly dancing flowers.
Mami's favorite part was bringing the whole family back together again.
