Super Flying Squirrel

Facts about flying squirrels learned[]

  • Flying squirrels eat nuts, not fish.
  • Flying squirrels can glide, but they are terrible swimmers, therefore being one of the animals to drown easily.
  • Flying squirrels can see very well, but they cannot dance very well.
  • Flying squirrels live in the forest, not in the snow because it's too cold.
  • Flying squirrels are afraid of snakes.

Animals found by Click[]

  • Spectacled bears
  • Mice
  • Baby birds

Rescue Pack transformations[]

  • Jump rope
  • Flashlight
  • New tire

Trivia[]

  • This episode could explain why Tico never appeared in the series. There is already a squirrel in the show.
  • All the animals that Click looked for are in a nest. She did not look for their sounds.
  • During the Al Rescate song, because Diego rides a motorcycle throughout the entire adventure, he does not do the clapping like usual, he instead honks the horn on his motorcycle.
  • This is the second episode where Rescue Pack was used almost immediately after Click, the first being Save the Sea Turtles.
  • Baby Jaguar does not appear in this episode. However, a flying squirrel is taking his place as the next assistant.
  • Like in Whistling Willie Finds a Friend, Diego does not say, "Those silly/naughty monkeys are always causing trouble!". He says, "Those silly monkeys are always getting into trouble!" instead.
  • This could be Diego's version of Super Map! and Super Babies (all of them have to do with superheroes).
  • When Click says, "Yes, they are!" the audio is taken from A Booboo on the Pygmy Marmoset.
  • This was the only episode to be written by the supervising producer Jeff DeGrandis.
  • Although it premiered in 2008 on DVD and Nickelodeon and 2011 on Nick Jr., it was made in 2007 according to the end credits.

Goofs/Errors[]

  • It is unknown how Rescue Pack managed to make the transformation wheel perfect and just the right size.
