[The episode starts with Diego dancing with the animals outside the Rescue Center.]
Diego has a question for you: "Do YOU like parades?"
You can tell him your thoughts if you'd like!
Well, Diego does! "Me too!" he replies. He explains that there's a Carnaval today.
"CARNAVAL!!!" cheered Sammy the Sloth and a macaw.
but you CAN'T have Carnaval
"SAMBA!!!" cheered the animals and Baby Jaguar.
Diego has an idea: they can do the Samba RIGHT NOW! "Clap with me while we dance the Samba!"
Ready? Here we go!
(music begins)
Come on, and clap with us!
It's a Samba, Samba, Samba!
So instead of Alicia's video call, Diego has a question about that: "Do you know who's calling me?"
Do you recognize her? (Hint: She's from
her own show of the same universe.)
"Right! That's my cousin, Dora the Explorer!"
And look who else is here for the parade! (He's in Diego's show) "And LOOK! There's Boots!"
"Diego! Boots and I are on top of the mountain waiting for Linda the Llama to bring the basket of goodies and music for the parade!"
"But she's not here!" said Boots. (Is that...
Camilla (girl in the middle)? How did she get there?)
Diego is shocked! "UH-OH! Without the music and goodies, there CAN'T be a Carnaval parade!"
Dora might know the reason why Linda hasn't shown up yet. "Diego, Linda the Llama must be in trouble! You've GOT to rescue her, Diego!" So Dora and Boots are going to count on Diego and he will find Linda before the party starts.
Our special camera Click will find Linda the Llama.
Click is ready for work! "We need to find Linda the Llama, or there won't be a Carnaval parade! Llamas sound like this…"
Does this sound like a llama?
No, that’s a scarlet macaw!
Does this sound like a llama?
Does THIS sound like the llama?
You found Linda the Llama!
We've got to see why she’s in trouble.
"¡¡¡AYÚDENME!!!" said Linda.
Linda the Llama is stuck in the muddy mud!" said Diego.
"And her Carnaval baskets with goodies and music have fallen!" he continued.
We’ve got to help Linda the Llama out of the muddy mud and find her Carnaval baskets!
Do you see Linda the Llama?
Let's look for the baskets, do the Samba beat!
There it is! (This one is the basket of yummy treats.)
Let's look for the basket, do the Samba beat!
That sounds like the musical instruments!
They're coming from behind the wall!
Do you see the basket of instruments?
It's a Samba, Samba, Samba!
Look! There's the mountain where Dora is! But before we can get to that mountain, we have to cross the bridge.
(distant growling) What was THAT?!
"¡MIRA! ¡UN PUMA!" yelled Linda. A puma?!
(Diego, llamas are AFRAID of pumas!)
That wouldn't be so good.
There's a gate on the other side of this bridge!"
to keep the puma away from the goodies!"
so to tell Linda to go fast,
Oh, no! The puma is chasing them!
The puma is still coming!
Thanks for helping Linda the Llama!
You're GREAT at speaking Spanish!"
What do Dora and Boots have to say?
We need to get past this tall, grassy field!
Luckily, Linda likes to eat the grass.
"Llamas LOVE to eat grass.
can get us through the grassy field by
"BOBOS! BOBOS!" yelled some voices. Uh-oh! What was THAT?! "Ahahahehehe! Hoohoohoohoo!"
"WAHAHAHA! Whee!" they hollered and laughed. "Yeah! WOOHOOHAHAHA! Whoo!"
Oh, no! That sounds like the Bobo Brothers!
Those naughty monkeys are always causing trouble!
Tell them if you see the monkeys!
And WHAT did they just see?! "Goodies!" they went.
"Goodies, goodies!" (They saw the goodies!)
"Woohoo! Whee-hoo! Woo-hoo-hoo!"
"Yay, Yippee! Yahoo, goodies!"
They REALLY want them!
Carnaval baskets!" (Yes, they are! And they REALLY want them!)
"FREEZE, BOBOS!!!" he shouted.
"We really wanted to go to Carnaval, Diego." a Bobo stated why.
Diego has an idea. They CAN come to Carnaval! "Don't worry, Bobos! You can come to Carnaval, too!" he asked them. "Carnaval is for EVERYONE!"
CARNAVAL! CARNAVAL!" they chanted.
"That llama SURE is STRONG!"
Boots tries to push the parade float, but it's not moving.
"It's too heavy for me to push!" he said.
But look who ELSE agrees!
"Too heavy!" said a Bobo.
"Too heavy!" adds the other.
"What are we going to do?!"
Diego has an idea! Maybe they have an animal who is REALLY strong!
What animal is really strong?
Look, King Momo's here! (Note: If you look closely, you can see the
Fiesta Trio in the crowd.)
"Why don't you and all your friends
ride on the float with me?"
Come on, and clap with us!
It's a Samba, Samba, Samba!
"This is the BEST Carnaval EVER!"
Come on, and clap with us!
It's a Samba, Samba, Samba!
"Come on, say it with me!"
Llamas love to eat grass,
And have really long necks.
Let's stretch like a llama,
Come on, stretch like a llama.
Stretch, stretch, STREEEETCH…!
Stretch, stretch, STREEEEEEEEETCH…!
They can climb up a mountain…
And boy, are they strong!
Let's all call like a llama!
Enjoy the rest of Carnival, amigos!
