[BRRRRRR! It's COLD outside! This frosty episode starts with Dora and Boots ice-skating.]

Dora explains what they're doing. "We're ice-skating

at the skating rink!"

She then has a question for you:

That must be the Ice Witch!

Yes it is!

That I'm as cool as can

The Ice Witch has a deal to make (but she doesn't believe they can do it). If anyone can be her in a skating contest, she will give them back their skates.

"I REALLY miss ice

skating!" said the squirrel sadly.

Unfortunately, the Snow Princess can't skate.

Because…

Oh, no!
(YIKES!)

Say, "Map!" Say, "Map!"

Map is ready for work! He says we have to go through the Icy Cave and down Pine Tree Mountain to get to Snowflake Lake.

Where do we go first?
The Cave! ¡Correcto! The Icy Cave!

To get to the cave, do we take the path with circles or triangles?

They enter the cave.

Who's that teleporting?

"Dora!" yelled Boots.

"The

Ice Witch!"

"HA!" the Ice Witch says.

"The Snow Princess thinks that girl should beat

ME in the contest?!"

"AS IF!"

"STILL," she continues. "She MUST be good."

She thinks of something.

An evil plan flew into her head.

"I know!"

"She'll NEVER get to

the lake today

if I put these

icicles

in her way!" (UH, we'll see about THAT!)

So, guess what the Ice Witch is doing!

She's putting the icicles in Dora and Boots' way!

But, she's not done yet!

More icicles!

They're EVERYWHERE!

(What are they going to do NOW?!)

"That

MEAN witch!" said Boots.

"Come on,

guys!" Dora says.

Here's the Fiesta Trio!

"Where do we go next, Dora?" asked Boots.

We went through the Icy Cave, check! So next is the…?
Mountain, right! Pine Tree Mountain!

Skiing down the mountain.

We need to ski on the path with the higher number. There's a nine and a five, which is higher?

Now there's an eleven and an eight. Which number is higher?

Three numbers this time! Three, ten, and six! Which is the highest?

Uh-oh!

Look who's behind them!

Could that be… the Ice Witch?!

Yes, it is!

"Ah…

She got past the icicles, I see!" she said.

"But can she skate down this mountain in just ONE ski?"

"I don't THINK so!"

(It's true that you can expect more based on what you see, but it doesn't mean what you don't see doesn't matter!)

There goes the other ski!

Now she has one ski!

What should she do now?

"WHOA!" cried Dora.

(Boots gasps)

"That mean witch!" he said.

"She took your

ski!"

"NOW how are you gonna get down, Dora?!"

Dora has an idea.

"MAYBE I can

balance on one ski, Boots.

Like this!"

"WOW!" said Boots.

"You're doing it, Dora!

YOU'RE DOING IT!"

WHEEEEEE!!! The Fiesta Trio's sledding!

"Where do we go next, Dora?" asked the Snow Fairy.

We made it through the Icy Cave, check! We made it down Pine Tree Mountain, check! So next is…?
Snowflake Lake, right! ¡El lago!

All the snow creatures are glad Dora and Boots made it.

Oh, no!

Here comes that Ice Witch again!

"You

got past my tricks!" she said.

"WHAT a BUMMER!"
(You thought you got rid of her, DIDN'T you? Well, you thought WRONG!)

"But true,

still I'm the BEST!

And I'll PROVE IT

to YOU!"

"DON'T listen to her, Dora!" said Boots.

"You're a GREAT skater!

I KNOW you'll win!"

"I'll do my best!" Dora says to him.

"I just hope I'm ready."

Snow Fairy thinks she IS ready. "You're READY, Dora!"

"You've been

practicing ALL DAY!"

The penguins toot the trumpets.

(fanfare playing)

"You're

TOTALLY

ready!" said the Snow Princess.

Come on, Dora! You've got this! Just dig deep!

The Ice Witch will go first.

(PLATINUM WHITE EXPLORER FIRE!)

(ANCIENT SPIRITS OF THE SNOWY FOREST!)

"It's all tied up," Snow Fairy explained.

"Now it's time for each of them to do the special moves."

"You MAY be good,

but

I'm the best skater

in the whole Snowy Forest!"

"NOBODY'S BETTER THAN

MEEEEEE

EEEEEEE

EEEEE --

WHOOOOO

OOOOOOA!!!!!"

The Ice Witch is about to fall!

Dora helps her up.

"You okay?" she asked her.

"Yeah," the Ice Witch said.

"Gracias, Dora."

(This is your chance, Dora! Skate in spirit with ALL the power of the Explorer Flame!)

"Now it's Dora turn!"

"If Dora can do the special skating move, she'll be the winner!"

"REMEMBER, Dora!"

"Leap,

hold tight!

Turn, land!"

Chant with them!

"Say it with us!"

"LEAP, HOLD TIGHT!

TURN, LAND!"

Again!

"LEAP,

HOLD TIGHT!

TURN,

LAND!"

"Leap,

Hold tight!

Tuuu

uuuu

uuuu

uuuu

uuuurn,

land!"

(all cheering)

(Wow, she did it!)

"And now,

everyone must get their

skates back!"

The Ice Witch waves her wand

and…

…everyone's skates are back!

("THAT's what we like to see!" - Emma)

(Dora, Guardian of the Explorer Flame!)

"DORA IS AN ICE-SKATING HERO!!!" cheered the snow creatures.

Everyone is SUPER PROUD!
Especially the Explorer Girls (Alana, Emma, Kate, Mariana and Naiya), who we shall meet in another episode!

The Ice Witch feels frustrated.

"The Ice Witch

looks really sad, Dora!"

"I'm going to go talk to her!" Dora said.

"Ice Witch," she said.

"Aren't you going to keep skating?"

"No!" she said.

Here is why she's frustrated. "If I can't be the best,

I don't wanna skate AT ALL!"

(Tch, WHAT A GRUMP!)

Dora and Boots are so happy that the Ice Witch (Now named as Jessica Stuart) is now their friend!

"What was your favorite part of the trip?"
