[Here's where our story begins. Who could be behind the tall grass?]
(Hey, Alicia! How's it going?)
"¡Hola!" she said.
She must be looking for something. What are you looking for, Alicia?
"I'm playing hide and seek with my friend,
Help her look! "If you see a deer, say, 'Deer!'" she reminded.
"DEER!" said Alicia. "You found him!"
Don’t you worry, Whitetail, just you wait!
…but, you’re just a little late!
You'll have great antlers on your head.
I'll have great antlers on my HEAD!
"Don’t worry, Whitetail," said Alicia. "You'll get your antlers really soon!"
Uh-oh! That sounds like a rock slide!
Alicia will use her binoculars to find the rock slide.
Help her find the rock slide.
If you see rolling rocks, say, "Rock slide!"
ROCKS! There's the rock slide!
Alicia really hopes there are no animals in the way of it.
Let's zoom through the forest!
This is a white tail! Is it a deer?
Here's a white tail! Is it a deer?
Let's look for more white tails!
Look! That's a white tail! Is THIS a whitetail deer?
Yes it is! You found the whitetail deer!
Tell Alicia that you found the Whitetail Deer!
Oh no! The wheel got stuck!
"The wheels got stuck in the sand!"
"¡No te preocupes, Whitetail!" said Alicia.
But the good news is… "I built this rescue racer,
ANY kind of vehicle I need!" she explained. (Well, THAT'S good!)
The old wheels disappear.
…it gets four BIGGER wheels!
(Again!) GO, RESCUE RACER!!!
Whitetail has never seen bubbles before. "They're really pretty!" he said.
"I can't see through all these bubbles!"
"I wonder who's making all these bubbles?"
"Hehehehehe!" those twins laughed blowing bubbles.
"I THOUGHT SO!" said Alicia.
"It's the BOBO BROTHERS!" gasped Whitetail.
"Those silly monkeys are ALWAYS causing trouble!"
Alicia can't see them through all these bubbles!
"Are they making giant bubbles?" asked Whitetail.
They're making giant bubbles!
Alicia gives the viewers a firm 'yes'.
or we'll never get to the baby deer!
Looks like they're not freezing yet!
an enormous bubble for them to relax in!
But we think they've blown...
Good job stopping the Bobos!
"But I still can't see through all these bubbles!" Whitetail said worried.
"That's okay, Whitetail." said Alicia.
"Now that we've stopped the Bobos,
we'll be able to pop all the bubbles!" said Alicia.
"It's REALLY FUN to pop bubbles!"
"Those steps are really high!" said Whitetail.
"And we can't go up these steps
with my Rescue Racer," Alicia explains.
They hop to the first step.
"I don't know if I can jump
"That sounds like a coyote!" warned Alicia.
COYOTE?!" gasped Whitetail.
as he thinks of the coyote.
un coyote!" gasped Whitetail more.
She warned us, "Deer are AFRAID of coyotes!"
"Uh-huh!" Whitetail agrees with Alicia!
"Uh-oh!" Whitetail gasped.
"Don't worry, Whitetail!" Alicia assured him.
"We can play the freeze game
to hide from the coyotes!"
the freeze game!" blushed Whitetail.
(Remember that Diego was also playing that kind of game with Dora and Boots to get past the
T-
Rex in
Baby Dino?)
You all need to play the freeze game so the coyote doesn't see us.
We'll tiptoe REALLY fast! And when you see a coyote, yell "FREEZE!"
If you see another coyote,
Uh-oh! That coyote's coming back!
"Keep looking!" Alicia reminded the viewer.
They knew he's coming back! What are we gonna do?
And there goes another coyote!
YAY! We made it through the grass!
And the coyote's gone for good!
You're really good at playing the freeze game!
How is she going to save him?
from falling." (What a great idea!)
(Do YOU know what to say to make it work?)
Say it!
"LOUDER!" said Alicia.
A face appears.
"LASSO!!!" Rescue Rope says.
Rescue Rope's ready to save the day!
They rocks are getting closer!
We've gotta get the baby deer to where it’s safe!
Diego must be somewhere in this mountain. Maybe he can help!
"Diego, ¿donde estas?" asked Alicia.
"I'm here with the whitetail deers that I rescued," Diego said.
"Those are my deer friends!" said Whitetail. Diego then says that he is safe in the forest and wants to know if Alicia and Whitetail are okay.
"We're okay NOW," Alicia responds.
"But we got to get to where it's safe!"
We'll make a signal for you," he said. "Look for the white tails!"
"¡Gracias!" said Whitetail. "My antlers helped me rescue the baby deer."
"Thank you!" said the baby deer.
"I'm so glad to be back with me deer friends, Alicia!
Alicia and Whitetail hug.
"Aww, I love you too, Whitetail!"
saving the whitetail deer!"
