Alicia!" (What's that big machine?)
She explains that she and Diego built this catching machine
"Animal rescuers sometimes
catching them when they fall," he explains.
(Hey! We've seen that before, like when he caught Baby Jaguar
a couple times!)
He asks, "Will YOU help me practice my
to the left and to the right,
"Put your hands into the air
"YAY! You helped me practice
Suddenly he heard a bird noise.
"HELP! HEEEELP!!!!!" yelled the bird.
"HEY! That sounds like an animal in trouble!"
"Let's go see what animal needs our help!"
She turned on! Let's find out what animal is in trouble!
Click is ready for work! "Hi! I'm Click the Camera!" she says. "Diego and Alicia need to find the animal in trouble!"
The animal in trouble sounds like this:
Let's ZOOM through the forest! And listen for the animal that goes…
Does this sound like the animal in trouble?
No! What animal is that? A horse, right!
Does this sound like the animal in trouble?
No! It's a maned wolf!
We're looking for the animal that says, "chirp chirp".
Does THIS sound like the animal in trouble?
Yes, it does! That's a rhea. Rheas are BIG birds! To take a picture of it, say, "CLICK!"
Now you tell Diego, you found a rhea.
"What did you find?" he asked.
"Rheas are REALLY big birds that
live in the grasslands," Alicia explains. (We learned that from Click like a minute ago.)
"To find out WHY the rhea is in trouble,
we've got to see more of the picture."
(You know what we gotta do, right?)
Say, "ZOOM!" they both said.
YOU CAN'T FLY!" Click saw the Cuckoo Birds teasing Rhea for being flightless.
Oh no! The coo-coo birds don't see
is getting closer to the edge of the cliff!
"You've GOT to get to the grasslands
So you can rescue the rhea!"
"Will YOU help me rescue the Rhea
you can't fly!" Diego heard the Cuckoo Birds teasing Rhea.
you can't fly!" said the Cuckoo Birds still teasing Rhea before he falls off the cliff.
"I guess I CAN run pretty fast!" said Rhea.
The cuckoos heard their baby brothers, but they sound so far away!
"We'll catch up to you as SOON as we can!"
That sounds like a puma!
(A puma?! YIKES!)
(Rheas are AFRAID of pumas!)
"Sobrinito (little nephew),
you have to protect our nests from the puma!" one of Rhea's uncles said.
"We can't get to the other side of the river in time!"
"You've got to hide our eggs!" said another uncle.
"Don't worry, tíos!" Rhea said to his uncles.
"Diego, I have to hide the eggs from the puma!" told Rhea to him.
The pumas didn't see the eggs and ran away!
You helped Rhea protect the rhea eggs!
Now the eggs are all safe and sound!
"Thanks for saving our eggs!"
Let's see who's calling...
Let's go save the Baby Cuckoos!
There are snakes on those rocks!
You have to stand up to tiptoe!
Stand up, please! STAND UP!
Stand up and get ready to tiptoe!
Tiptoe, tiptoe, tiptoe past the Sleeping Snakes
Tiptoe, tiptoe, tiptoe past the Sleeping Snakes
Up on your toes, that's how we go, let's all make sure that they don't wake
Tiptoe, tiptoe past the Sleeping Snakes!
That windy wind was SO STRONG!"
"You saved our baby brothers!"
