[Today's episode starts at the Animal Rescue Center,
as we see our animal rescuers on this tree.]
"And I'm Alicia!"
(Note that Alicia now has another Rescue Pack, if it will be voiced by a female actress like Tara Strong or Ashleigh Ball.)
In the rainforest, trees are used for lots of things!
And different animals live in trees.
Help us count the animals in Spanish!
"SEAI!-SEAI!" sounded a call.
(WHAT WAS THAT?!)
"¡¡AYÚDENNOS!! HEEEEEEELP!!"
"That sounds like animals are in trouble, Diego!"
Let's go see what animals need our help!
can find the animals in trouble.
"Hi! I'm Click the Camera!" she says.
"We need to find the animals in trouble.
The animals in trouble sound like THIS…!"
Let's zoom through the forest and find the animals that go "Seai-seai!".
(Coo, coo, coo! Coo, coo, coo!) Are these the animals in trouble?
No! Those are capuchin monkeys.
No, those were Capuchin monkeys!
(Ahoo, ahoo!) Are these the animals in trouble?
No, those are howler monkeys.
No, no, no! Those were howler monkeys! Let’s keep looking!
(Arr, arr!) Are these the animals in trouble?
No, those are squirrel monkeys!
No, those were Squirrel Monkeys!
Are THESE the animals in trouble?
Yes! Those are pigmy marmosets! To take a picture of the pygmy marmosets, say "click"!
Got it! Now, you tell Diego and Alicia: The animals in trouble are pygmy marmosets.
"What animals are in trouble?"
"Pygmy marmosets are the smallest monkeys in ALL the rainforest!"
"Hey! That's Papi Pigmy Marmoset,
with Little Pigmy Marmoset on his back!"
Oh, no! Papi and Little Pigmy Marmoset are stuck in the prickly thorns!
Clap, clap, clap! Clap, clap, clap! Clap, clap, clap! Clap, clap, clap!
"Hey!" Diego said. "I can hear the pygmy marmosets!"
"But I don't see them yet…
…because they're really, REALLY tiny!"
"We've got to find them!" said Alicia.
"I know! Pygmy marmosets have
REALLY LONG tails! So we can look for their tails."
help us look for their long,
"Make a spotting scope with your hands to look for the pygmy marmosets' tails."
That must be them! "Do you see their tails?" asked Diego.
"DIEGO! ALICIA!" called Papi Marmoset. "I'm so glad you found us!"
"What happened?" Alicia asked them.
"We were searching for food for our family
when we slipped and fell into
Even worse… "And we got booboos!"
"Don't worry! We're animal rescuers! WE'LL help you out of the prickly thorns!"
thorns are VERY pointy!" Diego explains.
of the way!" (That way he won't get cut.)
"Now it's safe to reach inside!" Diego said.
Alicia says, "Help us reach inside."
"Put your hands out in front of you and…
"We GOT them!" cheered Alicia.
"Thanks for helping us get them out!"
"Do you need some medicine?" he asks.
Baby Marmoset states the problem. "WE GOT
see… Poor little marmosets!" said the tree worriedly.
"Does it hurt?" he asked.
"Yup…" cried Baby Marmoset.
"Do you see any orange medicine?"
"Come on, Little Marmoset! Put your hand under the medicine!"
"Will it hurt?!" asked the little marmoset anxiously.
"Do you want me to go first?" asked Papi Marmoset.
"That feels better! Didn't hurt at all!"
Now Little Marmoset is ready!
"WOW! It DOES feel better!"
"Look! The booboos look like they have orange bandages on them!"
The tree goes back to sleep.
First let’s find the picture of a monkey. Where is it?
Now which one is the Pygmy marmoset?
Now let’s see what they like to eat.
Oh no! They ran into the Hawk Forest!
No, that’s a (blue morpho) butterfly!
No! That’s a little ladybug!
"Now the pygmy marmosets can get the tree sap for
"Pygmy marmosets get up trees by hopping from branch to branch."
"In English, we say, 'Hop'; In Spanish, we say, 'Brinca'."
Pygmy marmosets have REALLY sharp teeth!
Help the pygmy marmosets chew through the tree bark.
They're almost to the sap!
Alicia's got a bottle to collect the tree sap.
"Tell me when we've filled it up to this line."
"Diego!" said Alicia. "We've gotta save
the pygmy marmosets! We need something that can fly us down to the river FAST!" (Notice that in this shot, Alicia's own rescue pack somehow disappeared.)
"My Rescue Pack can transform into anything we need!"
"To activate my Rescue Pack,
"YOOOOOOO! Rescue Pack here! Diego needs me to change into something that can fly them down to the river!"
Can a wagon fly us down to the river?
NO!
Can a bicycle fly us down to the river?
NO!!
Can a hang glider fly us down to the river?
YES, it can! Tell Diego he needs a hang glider!
"WHAT do we need?"
Tell them!
(Well, we're lucky Alicia has her own Rescue Pack because she's going to need a hang glider to save the marmosets, too!)
Help him catch them before they go over the waterfall.
Put your arms out in front of you and…
Diego caught the marmosets!
"Are you okay?" asked Diego to the marmosets.
But the tree sap is still in the water.
"Alicia! Get that tree sap!"
"And look what Alicia has for you!"
"TREE SAP!!!" gasped the marmoset family.
The marmoset family is going to have tree sap
"Thank you for bringing us back home safe!"
Diego hugging the marmoset.
"The pygmy marmoset family is ALL back together again!"
