"And I'm Boots!"

(What are we reading today?)

"We're going to read the story about the Three Little Pigs!" (Cool!)

She asks a question to you. "Do YOU know the story of Three Little Pigs?"

Are YOU familiar with that story? Tell them!

Boots is! "I know that one! I KNOW THAT ONE!!!"

"GREAT!"

Here's the story...

"Once upon a time, there were three little pigs."

"Yeah, YEAH!

Three little piggies!"

(narrating:) "The first

little piggy

built

a house

made of

straw."

"Along

came the

Big Bad Wolf!"

"And the Big Bad Wolf huffed, and he puffed,

and he

blew

the house

down!"

"The

little

piggy

ran,

all the

way to his

brother's

house."

"The

second

little piggy

built a house

made of

sticks!

"Along came the Big Bad Wolf!"

"And the Big Bad Wolf huffed, and he puffed,

and he blew

THAT house

down,

too!"

"And

the

two little

piggies

ran

to

the

last

brother's house.

"The

third

little

piggy

built

a house

made

of

REALLY strong bricks!"

[He's FURIOUS!]
"And the Big Bad Wolf

huffed,

and he puffed,

and... could the Big Bad Wolf blow down the house made of bricks?"

"NO!

The wolf

COULDN'T blow the brick house down!"

"You'll never blow MY house down, wolf!" said the pig.

"And the little

piggy was

SO brave, the wolf

gave up

and ran

ALL the way home!"

"The end!"

That was a great story!

Boots is curious. "And what happens next?" he asks.

"Well, that's the end of the story, Boots!"

He knows that, but he's serious!
"BUT WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?!! I REALLY WANNA KNOW!!!"

"Let's stop and think."

There is no "What happens next?" because it's the end of the story, but Boots still wants to know what happens next! So...

Here's her idea! "We can use our IMAGINATION, and

MAKE UP the rest of the story!"

Boots loves that idea! "YEAH, YEAH, YEAH!"

(narrating:) "The story of the

brave, little

piggy

was told

throughout the land!"

(applauding)

The piggy feels appreciated.

[Here comes the Fiesta Trio!]
"Soon, the...

KING!"

"Yeah, yeah! I LOVE kings!" Boots remarked.
[This king will soon be known as King Juan el Bobo.]

(narrating:) "Soon,

the king

heard the story,

and went to visit

the little piggies!"

The brave piggy bows his head

and the King gives him a medal.

"You are

VERY brave, little piggy!" said the King.

"Oh, thank you, THANK YOU, King!"

"And I need someone brave and fearless to bring my mommy back home."

"My mommy's FAR AWAY

and I miss her

VERY, VERY much!"

"But…

but I'm too

SCARED to get my mommy

because you have to go past BEARS!"

"OOOOOH!!!" said the Fiesta Trio. (Sounds scary!)

(But that's not all…) "AND GIANTS!!"

(Sounds scary!)

"OOOOOOH!!!!"

"AND DRAGONS!!!"

"OOOOOOOOH!!!!!"

"Only someone

brave and fearless

like YOU

can make such a journey!"

Even though the piggy is brave, he is not THAT brave, so he says,

"Oh, NO your majesty!

NO, NO, NO!"

"I'm not brave,

and I'm not fearless,

and I'm too SCARED

to go get your mommy!"

"SORRY!"

They go back inside

and slam the door all upset.

Very sad…

"What happens next, Dora?" Boots asked.

That must be the part where they come in!

"Just then..."

(narrating:) "A monkey rides in on a horse!

And riding with this monkey is his best friend, a brave and fearless girl named Dora!

Together, they would help

bring

the King's mommy

back

home!"

"Don't worry,

king!

WE'RE brave and fearless!"

"Yeah, we'll bring your mommy back home!"

"YAY for Dora and Boots!!!"

"Thank you,

thank you!" the king said, hugging them.

(Fiesta Trio playing music)

"Come on, let's go get the

King's mommy!"

Unfortunately... "But Dora, we don't know where the king's mommy IS!"

"Who do we ask for help when we don't know which way to go?"

Do YOU know?

Boots does! "The Map!"

The Map, right!

Will you check the Map to find out where the king's mommy is?

You have to say, "Map"!

There he is!

Say, "Map!"

(Map!)

All right! (SPRIIIING!) Let's see what he says…!

Map's ready to help! And ooh, the map looks different! "Dora and Boots need to go get the King's Mommy!"

Do you see the King's Mommy? (Here she comes!)

Right there!

"There she is! At the end of the rainbow! ¡El arco iris!"

"Well, I know to get to the rainbow!" Listen carefully...

First, you have to go through the Three Bears' house.

Then, you go AROUND the beanstalk.

And that's how you'll get to the rainbow to find the King's Mommy!

Ooh, stars! Try and catch stars

along the way!

So remember: Bears, Beanstalk, Rainbow!

Bears, Beanstalk, Rainbow (El Arco Iris)! Where do we go first?

Bears, right!

The Three Bears' house!

So first we need to go through the bears' house.

¿Donde esta? Where is the bears' house? (A butterfly is blocking it!)

(It flew away! NOW can you see the house?)

"Look, the Seven Dwarfs!"

The Seven Dwarfs were alone each night, 'til they found

their friend,

(Say it again!)

SNOW WHITE!!!

"Look, there's Cinderella!"

Cinderella,

her clothes are a MESS!

To go to the ball,

she needs a nice…?

(What does she need to wear?)

DRESS!

Hurry, hurry!

The king's all alone!

Let's get the king's mommy and bring her

back home!

(song ends)

That was fun!

"We made it to the bears' house!"

"And the door

is open."

They don't see anyone, not even the Goldilocks and the three bears…

"But it doesn't look like anyone's

home."

Here's the table.

"Look! There are

one,

two,

three bowls of porridge.

but one's empty!"

"Someone ate ALL the porridge!" (Who could be behind this?)

"Look! There are

one,

two,

three chairs!

But someone

BROKE a chair!"

Here are the beds.

"And look! There are

one,

two,

three beds!

But someone's sleeping in THAT bed."

"WHO'S sleeping in the bears' bed?!"

"WHO's sleeping in the bear's bed?!"

"Goldilocks, right!"

"¡Hola!" she says.

"I'm Goldilocks!"

Just then, they hear footsteps.

"Uh-oh,

who's coming home, now?"

"IT'S THE THREE BEARS!"

Boots is shocked! "Oh, no! The bears don't look happy!"
(And the Mother Bear looks even less happy!)

"What happens next, Dora?!"

"The bears come home, and..."

(They smile)

"They are happy to see us!" (Now they made it so Goldilocks doesn't get yelled at.)

"HELLO!" they all said.

"It's so nice

to have visitors!" says Papa Bear.

"I was VERY hungry,

and I ate a bowl of your porridge."

"I'm sorry!"

"That's alright,

we got PLENTY more!"

"And I wanted to sit down,

but I broke

one of your chairs!" (Maybe she's too big for it.)

"I'm REALLY sorry!"

"That chair ALWAYS

does that!" said Mama Bear.

"You can help fix it!"

"Will YOU help us

fix the bear's chair?"

Will you?

"Great!"

"Let's find the stick

that fits in the chair."

Does this stick fit in the chair?

No! That stick's

TOO long!

Does

this stick fit in the chair?

She tries to put it in.

No!

That stick's

TOO short!

Does

THIS stick fit in the chair?

Yes.

Yeah!

This stick is JUST RIGHT!

Now the chair is fixed!

(That chair fits for Baby Bear.)

"Thanks for fixing the chair!" said Mama Bear.

"Come on,

we'd better go now."

"We're going to get the King's mommy."

"¡BUENA SUERTE!"

"Good luck!"

The Fiesta Trio go down the steps, too!

"Where do we go next?"

We went through the bear's house.

Where do we go next?

The beanstalk, right!

We need to find the beanstalk.

¿Donde esta? Where is the beanstalk?

Right there, and look how tall it is!

"Yeah,

THERE it is!"

"¡Sí, allí esta!"

"Come on, let's go get the

King's mommy!"

Hurry, hurry!

The king's all alone!

Let's get the king's mommy

and bring her back home!

"Look!"

"It's Little Red Riding Hood!"

She's got

goodies

from her

brown box!

She'd better

watch out for

Swiper the...

(If it isn't the wolf, then WHAT in blue blazes is THAT behind Boots?!)

(music becomes ominous)

FOX!

WHO should she

(music stops)

"SWIPER THE

FOX!!!" yelled Dora and Boots. (Notice how he's replaced the Big Bad Wolf, because there's NO WAY of having the Big Bad Wolf returning again after his defeat from Three Little Pigs!)

Uh-oh!

"He'll try to swipe Red Riding Hood's

(zoop sound)
box of goodies

for her grandma!!!"
(Like how he tried it in Grandma's House 3 times on a whole adventure!)

(And it's impossible to make him on the good side; until the next episodes, so...)

"WE know what to do!"

We have to say...

"Swiper, no swiping!"

"Say it with me!"

Ready?

(Little Red Hood! Watch out!!)

Swiper,

Red Hood successfully defeated him! And to his bad luck, he says…

And he runs away!

Goodbye, Little Red and Grandma!

It's REALLY high!

"We made it to the Beanstalk!"

"And look! It's 'Jack and the Beanstalk'!"

"And Jack's got a

a golden egg!"

Let's say hi to him!

"Hi, Jack!"

"¡Hola,

amigos!"

(Uh-oh! The ground is starting to shake!)

"UH-OH!

Something funny's going on!"

"FE-FI-FO-FUM!!!" yelled a deep loud voice.

"Who says,

'Fee-

fi-

fo-

fum'?"

(It's a giant! [He will soon be known as the "Giant-Giant".])

"THE GIANT!!"

"And he looks MAD!"
(He's TRYING not to SLIP!)

"What happens next, Dora?!?"

"It turns out this is..."

"A NICE giant!"

"And he's going to give Jack MORE golden eggs!"

"Hi, Jack! I've got

more eggs for you!"

"Wow!

That IS a nice giant!"

As he climbs down,

he accidentally dropped all the eggs!

Down they go!

"OH, NO!" cried the Giant.

"I had twelve more eggs for Jack and NOW THEY'RE

LOST!"

"Don't worry, giant! We'll help you find the golden eggs!"

"Will YOU help us find the golden eggs?"

WILL you? Jack and the giant would REALLY appreciate it!

"Great!"

[This must be the spot where the eggs landed!]
We need to find twelve golden eggs! Count with me!

"Twelve eggs! Great!"

The Giant got them back.

"Here are some more

golden eggs, Jack!"

"Come on, we have to go get the King's mommy!"

The Fiesta Trio is sliding down the beanstalk!

"Where do we go next?"

We went through the bears' house;

And around the beanstalk;

The rainbow!

"So next we need to

to find the rainbow."

(Oh, no! It's not here! Those clouds are blocking it!)

"But there's all these clouds in the way!"

"We need something to blow the clouds away!"

Hey, what are those behind the clouds?

They hear some laughing.

"I hear stars!"

"Do you see stars?"

Here they come!

"STARS!"

"ESTRELLAS!"

"Yippee!"

"Yahoo!"

"Try and catch us!"

(WHOOOOSH!)

"Look! It's an Explorer Star, Gusty!"

Whoa! Gusty is blowing some strong wind!

He's spinning Dora and Boots in circles!

"Gusty can blow the clouds out of the way!"

"If we

can catch

him!"

"We need to catch

the stars!"

"Reach up to catch the stars!"

"Reach up!"

And...

"Catch 'em,

catch 'em,

CATCH 'EM!!!"

"We caught them!"

"And we caught

Gusty!"

"Let's put them in

the star pocket."

But Gusty can't go in yet! We need his help to blow the clouds away!

Gusty speaks Spanish; so to tell him to blow,

say "sopla".

Can you say that?

Say "sopla"!

There's the rainbow!

"YAY, GUSTY!"

Now he joins the other stars.

"Good star-catching!"

NOW do you see the rainbow?

Right there.

"¡Sí, allí esta!"

Come on, let's go get the

King's mommy!

"ROOOOOOOAR!

ROOOOOOAR!!"

"Who's roaring?"

"The DRAGON?"

"THE DRAGON!

OH, NO!"

"WHAT HAPPENS NEXT, DORA?!?"

"The dragon turns into…"

"A FRIENDLY DRAGON!!!"

He stepped on a thorn!

"OOH! OOH! OOH!"

(sobbing)

"Uh, oh!

The dragon's

crying!"

"I think she needs

our help!"

"¡TENGO UNA ESPINA EN MI PIE!

¡AY-AY-AY!"

Dora translates: "The dragon has

a thorn in her foot!"

Do you see the thorn stuck in the dragon's foot?

"There it is!"

"¡Mucho mejor!" (That's better!)

"Now, we need to get something

to cover the dragon's

boo-boo."

"I need YOUR help!"

"Will

YOU check my backpack for =something we can use to cover the dragon's

boo-boo?"

You have to say, "Backpack!"

Backpack's here to help! "Hola!" she says. "I have lots of stuff, but Dora and Boots need something they can use to cover the dragon's boo-boo!"

What can they use to cover the boo-boo?

The bandage, right! Can you find the bandage?

There it is!

"Now, find a lollipop for the dragon for being such a good patient." (Just like the day when Dora and Boots played doctor!)
"Do you see the lollipop?"

Smart looking! Muy bien!

Here they come!

Dora gives the dragon the bandage.

Boots gives out the lollipop.

"¡GRACIAS, GRACIAS, GRACIAS!"

"Donde van?" (Where are you going?)

"Vamos

al

arco

iris!" (We're going to the rainbow!)

"¡Chalo

yo les llevo

al arco

iris!"

She translates: "The dragon will give us a ride over the rainbow!"

"YAY!!!"

"Suban!"

The dragon speaks Spanish.

So let's say the Spanish word "arriba"

to get the dragon

to go up!

Say, "arriba"!

The dragon flies up. "Again!" Dora said.

A little higher.

The dragon still didn't hear you! "LOUDER!" Dora yelled.

"¡ARRIBA!"

Up

and up

and up they go!

Here we go!

WHEEEEEEEEE!!!

"We made it over the rainbow!" said Boots.

"WHO do we see at the end of the rainbow?" asked Dora.

There she is! It's the King's mommy!

"THE KING'S MOMMY!!!"

As she looks at flowers, Dora and Boots come.

"Excuse me, your majesty!" Dora said.

"The King misses you

VERY much!"

"And we've come to bring you

back home!"

"Oh, I miss my cute little sonny boy, too!" said the King's Mommy.

"Let's go home!!"

Say, "Arriba" with us!

"¡ARRIBA!"

Up, up, and away they go!

Off they go!

[Back at the Three Little Pigs' brick house…]

The King has been crying. He blows his nose with tissue.

He's still sad.

"I WANT MY MOMMY!" he said.

"WHERE'S MY MOMMY?!

WHERE'S MY MOMMY?!?"

Help him find her!

Here comes the dragon!

"Do YOU see my mommy?"

Go ahead! Tell him where she is!

(She's on the dragon, King!)

"THERE'S MY MOMMY!"

She waves.

They made it back!

The King's mommy runs to him.

The King is so excited!

"MOMMY, MOMMY! I MISSED YOU SO MUCH!" said the King.

"I MISSED YOU, TOO, SONNY BOY!"

The King has something to say to Dora and Boots.

"Thank you for being BRAVE and FEARLESS,

and bringing my mommy back home!"

Look who came to congratulate them!

The Fiesta Trio is proud of them! They're dancing to their fanfare!

They all hug.

"YAY!"

"WE DID IT!"

Feel free to dance along with them!

We did it!

We went through the bears' house and met Goldilocks!
