Production info
This season was mostly produced in 2003, while episodes from Seasons 2 and 3 were airing. The 11th was produced in 2005, the 15th was produced in 2006, and the 19th was produced in 2007.
Trivia
- This season (but not all episodes from it) abandons the picture pop-up sequence and introduced a new way for Dora and Boots to track their progress: they check in on Map every time they pass a place and he (Map) would place a red checkmark. The path then traces to the next location, the blue cursor clicks on it, and Map asks the viewer to tell Dora and Boots where they need to go next.
- Most of the episodes use the show's original theme for the end credit sequence.
- This also marks the last season for the departure of the original cast except for the grown-up actors and actresses.
