Dora Helps the Birthday Wizzle (otherwise known as "Wizzle Wishes II") is the 20^th episode of Dora the Explorer from Season 5, as well as the Season 5 finale.

However, it is the 15^th episode of Season 5 in production order.

This episode aired on the DVD title Super Babies' Dream Adventure a year and a half before it aired on TV.
- In fact, three out of the four episodes on that DVD, including this and the episode itself, premiered on it before airing on TV. The only one that already aired on TV prior to the DVD release was Benny's Treasure.
This episode premiered exactly 8 years after ¡Rápido, Tico! and 2 years after Bouncy Boots.
Dora does not check Backpack in this episode.
The Travel Song is replaced by the new song ("We're in the Wizzle World") where Dora and Boots use the wand to make birthday wishes come true.
When Swiper says "You're too late!" The audio is almost taken from The Legend of the Big Red Chicken.
This is the third episode where Dora and Boots sing Rain, Rain, Go Away after The Big Storm and Dora's Big Birthday Adventure.
It is unknown how Swiper, the Grumpy Old Troll, Skylar, and the Fiesta Trio got into the birthday wish book.
At the end of the episode, Dora doesn't ask the viewer what their favorite part of the trip was, she instead asks the viewer what they are going to wish for on their birthday.
Isa, Benny, and Tico don't appear in this episode.
This Wizzle themed episode may be a sequel to the episode Wizzle Wishes.
The "We Did It!" song is extended to accommodate the characters saying "Feliz Cumpleaños".
- Just like with The Big Red Chicken's Magic Show and Boots' Banana Wish, before the final lyrics of "We Did It!", Dora, Boots, and the Birthday Wizzle start an extra verse reminiscing the animal end song from Go, Diego, Go!.
  - In this case, the extra verse started with Dora asking, "What did we shout?".
    - Speaking of the "We Did It!" song, this is the last episode in TV airing order to use its original music due to airing late when Season 6 started.
This episode marks the debut of Skylar, Dora's friend from Denmark.
When Dora is going to wish for a new paint set of her birthday in the end of this episode, it will foreshadow of her big birthday adventure in production order.
The twin dinosaur's puppy's character model is exactly the same as the puppies in Isabella’s dream at the end of the episode The Super Babies Dream Adventure.
- Coincidentally, both episodes are put together on the Super Babies' Dream Adventure DVD.
This is the second episode where the Unicorn Forest appears after Isa's Unicorn Flowers, but this time as a main location.
- This is also the second time Wizzle Mountain is a location after Dora's Big Birthday Adventure in airing order (it would be the other way around in production order).
