[This episode and the third season begins with Dora and Boots walking down a path through the forest.]
Hello, Dora and Boots!
Dora!"
[Hey, she introduced herself in Spanish! This is new!]
(She walks to him right away.) "There's something
in our way!" he tells her.
She can see that! "It's REALLY
She then decides to have the viewer guess what is blocking their way.
"Do YOU know what it is?"
Go ahead and take a guess!
It's a Big Book of Poetry!
Hey! A little lamb came out of the book!
Whose fleece was white as snow!
"That must be the little lamb that follows around that girl!"
"I can't remember her name!" she said. Help her out!
Hmm-hmm had a little lamb, little lamb, little lamb.
Mary had a little lamb, its fleece was white as
Yeah! MARY had a little lamb!
What's wrong, Little Lamb?
"I'm lost! I can't find my best friend! Mi amiga Mary!"
"Awww! Don't worry, Little Lamb!
WE'LL help you get back to
Will you help them bring Little Lamb back to Mary?
"Oh, thank you, ¡gracias!"
"Come on, come on, THIS way!
We’re in the Big Book of Nursery Rhymes!
How will we find Mary's House?
Who do we ask for help when we don’t know which way to go?
Will you check the Map to find out how to get to Mary's House?
Up he goes! Let's see what he says…
Here's Map! "Dora and Boots want to help Little Lamb find her way back to Mary's house. Well, I know how to get to Mary's house!" Listen carefully...
First, you go past the waterspout.
Then, jump over the moon! ¡La Luna! (But in an updated version, Map will say, "Then, you go through Humpty Dumpty's wall." before jumping over the moon.)
And that's how you'll get to Mary's house!
"Little Lamb, come home!", shouted Mary.
[Hey, this is new!]
Oooh! And don’t forget to look for stars along the way!
Now remember: Water, (Wall), Moon, Mary's House!
Water, (Wall), Moon, Mary's House! Where do we go first?
Water, right! The water spout!
So, first we need to find the Waterspout.
¿Dónde está? Where is the Waterspout?
(laughing sounds) ALREADY?
"Try and catch us!" said a star.
"Catch us, catch us!" said another.
Catch ME!" an Explorer Star said. But, WHO is this star?
"I'm Glowy!" she introduced herself.
Reach up to catch the stars!
the brightest Explorer Star!
Let's put them in the star pocket.
"The star pocket, the star pocket!"
The very first stars are in the star pocket! "Yippee!" they cheered.
"LITTLE LAMB…! WHERE ARE YOU? ¿DÓNDE ESTÁS?" shouted a voice (Mary).
Little Lamb hears Mary. "I'M COMING, MARY! ¡YA VOY!"
Let's bring Little Lamb back to Mary!
Water, (Wall), Moon, Mary's House!
Water, (Wall), Moon,
its fleece was white as snow.
Let's bring Little Lamb to Mary
and find poetry as we go!
Do you see the mouse that ran up the clock?
Jack be Nimble, Jack be quick.
Do you see Jack and the candlestick?
¡Salta, Jack, salta! (Jump, Jack, jump!)
Huffety, puffety, tuffet.
Do you see Little Miss Muffet?
He asked her: "What are you doing so far from home?"
Boots explains that they're bringing her back to Mary.
"Little Lamb, you look a little hungry." Peter said. "Would you like me to pick some... pickled peppers?"
"Pickled peppers?!" exclaimed Little Lamb.
"Oh, oh, my favorite snack!"
"¡Son deliciosos!" ("They're delicious!"
Looks like she's not alone! "PICKLED PEPPERS!!!" said Jack, Miss Muffet and the Mouse.
A LOT of people want pickled peppers!
Peter Piper needs to pick enough pickled peppers for everybody.
Let's count how many of us there are.
So, how many pickled peppers do we need?
and pick the pickled peppers."
Perfect pickled pepper picking!
"Gracias, Peter Piper! You're the best!"
Time to hand out the peppers!
"That sounds like Swiper!"
"That sneaky fox is ALWAYS trying to SWIPE our stuff!"
He'll try to swipe our pickled peppers!
If you see Swiper, yell, "SWIPER!"
You see Swiper? (His tail is the clock pendulum!)
There he is! Inside the mouse's clock!
Dora knows what to do! "We have to say,
'Swiper, no swiping!'" Here we go!
(woop sound) And he runs away…
We stopped Swiper! (Thanks for helping!)
Now we can eat our pickled peppers!
Little Lamb eats her pepper...
...and so do Little Miss Muffet and Jack...
...and Boots and the mouse.
But what about Dora? "I've never tasted a pickled pepper before." Dora admitted nervously.
"Well, like what my Mami always says… A qué provar.
She FINALLY eats the pepper...
Well, what do you think Dora?
"I LOVE pickled peppers!" she said happily.
Everyone (especially Little Lamb, the mouse, Jack and Miss Muffet) is glad she likes it. "YAY!!!!!"
Now let's bring Little Lamb back to Mary!
"Baa, baa!" Little Lamb went.
Look, it's the waterspout!
"Uh-oh!"
"The handle's turning!"
"Dora, DORA! The water's rising
We need to turn off the water!
"I'll help!" Hey, who said THAT?!
"I think I heard the Itsy Bitsy Spider."
Do you see the Itsy Bitsy Spider?
"I'll climb up and turn off the waterspout! But I'm going to need your help!"
Let's help the Itsy Bitsy Spider turn off the waterspout.
Put your fingers together to make a spider. Now sing with me!
The itsy bitsy spider climbed up the waterspout.
and dried up all the rain.
And the itsy bitsy spider climbed up the spout again!
"¡Fantástico!" ("Fantastic!") the spider complemented.
"Thanks, Itsy Bitsy Spider!"
Here come the Fiesta Trio!
We went past the waterspout.
Moon, right! ¡La Luna! (But in an updated version, it will add the wall BEFORE the moon.)
We have to go over the moon.
"LITTLE LAMB! WHERE ARE YOU? ¿DÓNDE ESTÁS?" a voice went. That's Mary!
"I'M COMING MARY! ¡YA VOY!"
Let's bring Little Lamb back to Mary!
(Everything in the second Travel Song up until here is the same) Let's bring Little Lamb
Do you see the pig that flew up in the air?
Rock-a-bye baby in the treetop.
Do you see the cradle that’s going to rock?
Where is Jack? Where is Jill?
Do you see them on the hill?
back to Mary!
(music ends)
This is Humpty Dumpty. We made it to the wall! (This is the second updated place!)
What's happening to Humpty Dumpty?!
Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall.
Humpty Dumpty is going to...?
"I shouldn't have sat on the wall!" a broken Humpty said. Should they wait for the king to send all his horses and men to put Humpty back together?
Nope. They can do it themselves. "We have to help put Humpty Dumpty
Let's see if we can do a better job than the king's horses and men...
¡Sí, esa pieza! (Yes, that piece!)
"¡Gracias! You put me back together again!" Thanks for helping!
"See you later, Little Lamb!" said Humpty.
"Get home safe!" (Call the Fiesta Trio! So next comes the moon!)
Look! It's Hey Diddle Diddle!
Now we have to jump OVER the moon!
How are we going to JUMP OVER the moon?!
The cat and the fiddle...
WHO jumped over the moon?
Dora thinks the cow will jump over the moon.
"Con permiso, (Excuse me,)
¿nos puedes pasar (can you fly us)
la Luna?" (Can the moon?)
"¡Sí, con mucho gusto!" (Yes, with pleasure!) said the Cow.
She's going to give us a ride over the moon!
The cow speaks Spanish. To get the cow to jump, we say "salte".
EVEN LOUDER!!! One more time, guys!
"¡Hola, Luna!" (Hello, Moon!)
Thanks for saying, "¡Salte!"
"How are we going to see our way back down?"
Who can light our way back down?
Look! Glowy's going to light our way!
Look! The Fiesta Trio is flying down!
We went past the waterspout,
we jumped over the moon,
(In an updated version, she will say "We fixed Humpty Dumpty at the wall before jumping over the moon.)
So what comes next?
Mary's house, right!
¿Dónde está Mary's house? (Hey! Mother Goose and her babies are blocking it!)
(That's better! NOW do you see Mary's house?)
"I've gotta get home FAST!"
"Mary will be so worried!"
"But the house is far away!" said Boots.
We need something that can give us a ride.
Distant voices: Rub-a-dub-dub!
Rub-a-dub-dub! (Three men in a tub and who do you think we be?)
Rub-a-dub-dub-dub-dub-dub-dub!
Do you see something that can give us a ride?
That tub with the three boys.
"¿Que tal, Little Lamb?" ("How are you, Little Lamb?") asked the butcher.
"Wow, you're far from home!" said the baker.
"Hop in, Little Lamb. We can give you a ride to Mary's house!" said the candlestick maker.
"Do you have room for mis amigos?" asked Little Lamb.
"¡Claro que sí! ¡Suban!" (Of course! Hop in!)
Off they go! Rub-a-dub-dub! Rub-a-dub-dub!
Her fleece isn't as white as snow anymore!
"We need to get her clean!" (What about EVERYONE? They all have mud on themselves!)
Dora has something in her Backpack
they can ALL use to get clean.
"I need YOUR help!" she said. Will you check her Backpack for something they can use to get clean?
You have to say, "Backpack!"
"¡Hola!" says Backpack. "I have lots of stuff, but Dora, Boots and Little Lamb need to find something they can use to get clean." Help her find it!
Can we use THIS to get clean?
What can we use to get clean?
Yeah, they can use the soap to get clean!
to get Little Lamb clean!"
Rub your hands together and say,
Rub-a-dub-dub! Rub-a-dub-dub!
Rub-a-dub-dub-dub-dub-dub-dub!
rub behind your ears! [Notice how Dora's shows her ears for the first time.]
Rub-a-dub-dub! Rub-a-dub-dub!
Rub-a-dub-dub-dub-dub-dub-dub!
Rub-a-dub-dub! Rub-a-dub-dub! Rub-a-dub-dub-dub-dub-dub-dub!
We made it to Mary's House!
"I'm home, I'm home, I'M HOME!"
"Mary will be so happy to see you!"
She rings the doorbell. (doorbell noise)
You're home, you're HOME!"
"¡Gracias, Dora! ¡Gracias, Boots!"
Let's sing "Mary Had a Little Lamb"!
Everywhere that Mary went,
"Little Lamb, I want you to follow behind me, so you NEVER get lost AGAIN!"
Little Lamb likes the idea. "Everywhere that you go, Mary, I'm going to get there, too!"
"¡Lo hicimos!" cheered Little Lamb.
We did it, we did it, we did it! YAY!
Itsy Bitsy Spider climb up
We jumped over La Luna and brought Little Lamb to Mary's House!
Now EVERYONE joins in!
Mary had a
its fleece was white as snow!
Little Lamb joins the song.
Now everywhere
"We had such a fun trip today!"
"What was your favorite part of the trip?"
Boots liked when they said, "Salte" so the cow would jump
Dora liked bringing Little Lamb back to Mary.
Let's see how many stars we caught!"
Great! We couldn't have done it without you!
The stars fly away! Goodbye!
