- 7 out of 8 of the episodes were previously seen from older DVDs (6 of them came from VHS tapes)
- Dora's First Trip and Best Friends were previously seen on the VHS/DVD with the same name of the formal episode.
- The Big River was previously seen on the Dora's Backpack Adventure VHS and on the Rhymes and Riddles DVD.
- Boots' Special Day was previously seen on the Super Silly Fiesta! VHS and DVD.
- Boots' Cuddly Dinosaur was previously seen on from the Save the Day! DVD.
- Baseball Boots was previously seen on the We're a Team! VHS and DVD.
- Call Me Mr. Riddles was previously seen on the Rhymes and Riddles VHS and DVD.
- The Nickelodeon Productions logo on this DVD is less low pitched than it normally is on most Season 8 episodes of Dora The Explorer. This is also present on the previous DVD.
- This is the only 2012-2015 DVD to go beyond 69-70 minutes.
- Despite being released in 2014, it was made in 2013 for the following reasons.
- 1. The cover and disc say 2013 as the year it was made.
- 2. The DVD and all the episodes are presented in 4:3, which means this is the last DVD to be presented in 4:3 format.
- 3. The DVD has the 2009 Nickelodeon ID at the beginning rather than the 2013-present one. However, the latter is used in the beginning of the episodes.
