Summary

Lady Knight Dora and Squire Boots embark on a noble quest to help Rocinante the horse and Dapple the donkey save Don Quixote, who's been locked in the Abandoned Library by a evil wizard named Malambruno!

• This is the first time Dora becomes a knight.
• This special took place before Dora's Knighthood Adventure.
• Although a Season 7 episode, this episode was actually produced for Season 6.
  • This is the last episode to be broadcast and produced in standard definition.
  • Dora is voiced by Fátima Ptacek, but Boots is still voiced by Regan Mizrahi, his Seasons 5-7 voice actor.
  • This is the only Season 7 episode featuring Dora in her casual outfit from Seasons 1-6 due to this episode being produced and took place before Dora's Knighthood Adventure, she is always wearing her pink shirt and her orange shorts, but she is seen wearing her white shoes again from previous episodes at the beginning of the episode and this is the very last episode seeing her wearing her white shoes from Seasons 1-6 and she will never wear them again from now on.
  • This episode still features the Blue Cursor clicking on answers, like in Seasons 1-6 episodes, unlike in Season 7, where the correct answer will simply glow.
• Swiper did not want to swipe the books, he just wanted to read one of them. Luckily for him, Rocinante let him read one of them which is about puppies. He was seen on his good side immediately after. He then thanked Rocinante for giving him the book. However, Malambruno technically still takes Swiper's place as the antagonist.
• Benny is shown dressed up as a dragon costume.
• This is the 11^th double-length episode of the series.
• This is the 151^st episode of the show.
• This episode's intro is of the same theme as the intro of Dora Saves the Crystal Kingdom.
• The episode premiered exactly 10 years after Click! premiered, 7 years after Boots to the Rescue premiered on TVO Kids, 5 years after Dora Saves the Mermaids premiered, and 2 years after Dora's Pegaso Adventure premiered.
• Backpack was checked twice in this episode.
• Dora and Boots don't sing the Travel Song in this episode, they instead sing Stop! I'm a Knight.
• If one looks closely, there is a picture of King Juan el Bobo on a blue book at the library in the castle as well as a picture of Mariana the Mermaid in a purple book.
• Plácido Domingo is a guest voice actor in this episode as Malambruno.
• This is The Last Episode for Backpack and Map to be 2D Animated in Their Segments.

Goofs/Errors

• During the fanfare at the end of the episode, the Fiesta Trio had music sheets instead of their instruments. It is unknown how their fanfare would play if they don’t have their instruments.
