Trivia[]

  • This episode actually consists of three separate stories or mini-episodes, featuring characters from Dora the Explorer: "Return to Rainbow Rock", "A Swiper Emergency", and "Magical Night Circus".
    • However, the third story is about as long as the first two stories together.
    • Dora doesn't ask Map for directions in this double-length episode.
  • This is the second time Swiper almost swiped a cookie, but then got to eat one. The first was Pinto, the Pony Express.
  • Unlike most episodes of Dora and Friends: Into the City!, Alana, Emma, Kate, Naiya, and Pablo make only minor appearances in this episode. It mainly focuses on Dora and her old rainforest friends.
    • While traveling to the Rainforest, Dora mentions her adventures with her city friends which reference previous episodes of Dora and Friends.
  • During Dora's first visit to the Rainforest in the episode, she brings gifts from her city friends to give to her friends from the Rainforest.
  • Boots and Benny's voices are somewhat lower in this episode. It is possible that Koda Gursoy and Aidan Gemme began going through puberty while it was being produced.
  • Starting with this episode, Mami is voiced by Leila Colom instead of Eileen Galindo.
  • Dora is transported to a magical night circus run by the Big Red Chicken when she watches the class pet.
  • This is the second Dora and Friends episode to feature Dora the Explorer characters.
  • This is Boots, Isa, Benny, Tico, Swiper, and the Big Red Chicken's last appearance.
  • The Blue Cursor is not involved in this episode or part of the reunion.
  • The "We Did It/All for One" song is sung differently than in "Return to the Rainforest", they got combined once again.
  • This is the second episode in which Dora and Boots go to Rainbow Rock for a picnic with Backpack and Bud to join them, they pass the same gate Dora passed before and they have the same snacks, strawberries dipped in chocolate, as in the Dora the Explorer episode "Best Friends", they also sing "We Did It/All for One" at the same place, but Dora does not cut it off this time because they remember singing it in their special way from before.
  • This episode does not feature Dora and Boots singing the Travel Song, there's no need for them to sing it anyway.
    • However, Dora sang the song in solo with her city friends asking her "Where are you going?/¿A dónde vas?". Then, she replied them "To save Swiper!/¡Al salvar Swiper!" during her ride on her Magic Butterfly.
  • On a side note of the segment "A Swiper Emergency", it revealed that Swiper doesn't like crocodiles, because he has Herpetophobia. It also happens to be the same fate of Captain James Bartholomew Hook from Peter Pan, Return To Neverland, The Pirate Fairy and Jake And The Neverland Pirates.
  • In the "Night Circus" segment, Dora goes on a dream adventure just like in Dora's Moonlight Adventure and Dora's Museum Sleepover Adventure.
  • Though not yet uploaded on YouTube, the full special can be viewed here.
