Summary

After showing Malambruno of reading books from the previous event, Lady Knight Dora and Squire Boots embark on a noble quest to help Rocinante the horse and Dapple the donkey rescue a princess, whose cat is stuck in a tree. Yet at each landmark they go to, Rocinante and Dapple jump to conclusions and causes problems.

Trivia

• This episode canonically serves as a sequel to Dora's Royal Rescue. However, it aired beforehand.
• This is the first time Dora becomes a knight (or the second in production order).
• This is the last episode to prominently feature the Blue Cursor, as it doesn't appear as much in Season 7 while clicking some objects that are hiding. However, it continues to appear, and it will still click on Dora after singing We Did It! and during Backpack segments.
• Map's dancing is recycled from Dora Saves King Unicornio.
• Dora and Boots don't sing the Travel Song in this episode, they instead sing a song called "We're going on a Rescue" which is about going on a rescue and helping animals on the way.
• Dora and Boots don't walk to the places they're going on their adventure, they instead ride a horse (Rocinante) and a donkey (Dapple).
• This is the 139^th episode of the show.
• When Dora uses the picture pop-up sequence the first time and after they pop up together, she doesn't say the places by listing them one at a time, she just asks the viewer where to go first and what place.
• Dora doesn't wear her normal clothes in this episode and neither does Boots (although he isn't really meant to wear clothes), she instead wears a dress and a crown or tiara in her hair.
• Tico's carousel looks a lot like a merry-go-round.
• This is the last episode (in production order) where Dora uses the old picture pop-up sequence. Starting with the next season, she will always tap it open. Additionally, the outlines of the squares will be purple instead of black.
• This is the last episode Dora uses Map in his original 2D design. Starting with Season 7, he will be used with a new CGI design.
• This is the final episode in production order to use the 90's CD-ROM game feel of the earlier seasons, as starting in Season 7, the series now resembles that of a mobile game on a touchscreen device.
• Isa doesn't appear in this episode.
• A rare version of the theme song used for this episode features the same vocals as Swiper's Favorite Things. This would be the last time this version of the song is used.
• Dora's spotting scope pointing at Benny in case of any trouble foreshadows him being stranded on Coconut Island in Benny the Castaway.
