Summary

• This is the last episode of the series to be written by co-creator Chris Gifford.
• This is Diego and Tico's last appearance in Dora the Explorer (in US airings).
  • This is also the last time Diego is voiced by Jacob Medrano (with his singing by Joaquin Mas). He will be voiced by Nicolas Cantu in the Dora and Friends: Into the City! episode For the Birds.
• The Travel Song is not sung in this episode. Instead, there's a new song called Animalitos.
• Every time the animalitos are under the sun, it makes them almost disappear.
• Isa, Baby Jaguar, Alicia, Click, and Rescue Pack do not appear in this episode.
• Dora and Boots ride on Dragon but are almost going to run into Benny in his hot air balloon, Dora says that they got to go up over his hot air balloon, "up" means "arriba" but she says "sube" which actually means "climb".
• This is the 31^st instance where Dora and Boots returned to where they started after reaching the final destination on the map, first ever time being Three Little Piggies.
• This is one of the few episodes where Swiper uses new methods to swipe something. This time, he's got long handled shears for cutting the big shady flower so he could swipe it.
  • Speaking of Swiper, this episode marks the last ever appearance of his trademark "Oh, man!" from Hic-Boom-Ohhh!, which would make a special appearance on the Dora and Friends: Into the City! episode Night Circus.
• This episode is very similar to Dora's Pegaso Adventure.
• Although this episode premiered in 2015 (Philippines) and 2019 (Nick Jr US), it was produced in 2013 according to the credits.
• This episode could serve as the backdoor prequel to Dora and the Fantastical Creatures.
