Trivia[]

  • In this episode, Diego and Alicia (and the viewer) never had the chance to say "Freeze, Bobos!" due to them leaving the river after they're done riding their raft in the river. The scene itself might be similar to how Swiper swiped the Chocolate Lake Boat without Dora and Boots stopping him in We All Scream for Ice Cream.
  • This is the third episode (second in production order) where Alicia sings the Al Rescate song. The first being A Booboo on the Pygmy Marmoset and second being An Underwater Mystery (in production order, it would happen again in the second aforementioned episode).
  • Click was not used in this episode and Baby Jaguar does not appear either.
  • This could be Diego's version of Best Friends after Sammy's Valentine for a few reasons:
    • The concept is similar to said episode of the main show as a sequel.
    • Both episodes also feature a key to open the gate for the path of Dora and Diego, as well as featuring animals that block the way for the path of Boots and Alicia (crabs for Boots, caimans for Alicia).
  • This is the second episode where Diego and Alicia had their swimsuits on after Cool Water for Ana the Anaconda.
  • Going by production order, this is the first episode Alicia uses her Rescue Rope. In airing order, Diego the Hero would be the first and this would be the fourth time it was used.
  • This episode was seen on the DVD title The Iguana Sing Along before airing on TV.
  • During the animal end song, Diego and Alicia wear their swimwear from Cool Water for Ana the Anaconda, but this time with their vests over them.

Goofs/Errors[]

  • Due to Alicia's voice being louder than Diego's, she is the one who is mostly heard during the Al Rescate song; it's really hard to hear Diego's voice.
  • The copyright year reads "2006" instead of 2007, meaning this episode was produced in 2006.
