[Alicia arrives with Mommy Maned Wolf]

Alicia: Hi, Diego! Hi, Dora!

Wolf pups: Mommy! A-woof, a-woof! Mommy, Mommy!

Diego: Mommy Maned Wolf came to the rescue center to have her wolf pups. How's Mommy Maned Wolf doing.

Alicia: She's doing great.

Diego: Mommy Maned Wolf, this is my cousin, Dora.

Mommy Maned Wolf: Hi. Nice to meet you.

Dora: Your little wolf pups are so cute. And there are so many of them.

Alicia: Maned wolves can have up to five pups at a time.

Dora: Let's count the maned wolf pups. Count with me. One.

First wolf pup: A-woof.

Dora: Two.

Second wolf pup: A-woof.

Dora: Three.

Third wolf pup: A-woof.

Dora: Four.

Fourth wolf pup: A-woof.

Dora: Four maned wolf pups!

Mommy Maned Wolf: Only four maned wolf pups? But I have five pups! Oh, no! My littlest pup is missing, and it's time for his feeding. He must be hungry.

Diego: Don't worry, Mommy Maned Wolf. We're animal rescuers. We'll find your baby maned wolf. Will you help us find Baby Maned Wolf? Great.

Alicia: Diego, I'll help Mommy Maned Wolf and her wolf pups and check in with you later.

Diego: Okay, Alicia!

Diego and Dora: Al rescate!

Diego: Come on!

Alicia: Go, animal rescuers, go!

[At the science desk...]

Diego: Our special camera Click can help us find the baby maned wolf.

[song ends]

Click: Hi, I'm Click the Camera. We need to find the baby maned wolf. Let's zoom through the forest and look for the baby maned wolf. Is this the baby maned wolf? No! That's a harpy eagle. Is this the baby maned wolf? No! That's a chinchilla. Is this the baby maned wolf? Yes! To take a picture of the baby maned wolf, say, "Click!" [takes the picture] Got it! Now, you tell Diego: You found the maned wolf.

Diego: What animal did you find? The maned wolf?

Dora: Look. It's the littlest baby. We've got to find out where the baby maned wolf is.

Diego: We can do that if Click zooms out. Say, "Zoom.”

[Zooms out to reveal the baby maned wolf is trapped in prickers and thorns]

Dora: Look. The baby maned wolf is in the Forest of Prickers and Thorns.

Diego: Oh, no. He's lost.

Dora: And he could get hurt. We need to save the baby maned wolf and bring him back to his mommy.

Diego: We can work together to rescue him. Ready, Rescue Pack?

Rescue Pack: Ready, Diego!

Dora: Lista, Mochilla?

Backpack: Lista, Dora!

Diego: Let's go!

(Diego goes to the footprints.)

Diego: Look, three paths and they all have footprints.

Dora: We need to follow the maned wolf footprints.

Diego: What can we use to find out more about animals?

Both: The field journal!

Diego: I can use the field journal to figure out which ones are the maned wolf footprints. Look, here’s the maned wolf footprint. Let’s think like animal scientists. We have to find the footprint that matches this one. Do these footprints match the maned wolf print? No. These ones don’t match. Do these footprints match the maned wolf print? No. These ones don’t match either. Do these footprints match the maned wolf print? Yes. These footprints are just right. They match! So this is the path with the maned wolf prints. Come on! We’ve got to rescue the baby maned wolf!

(Diego swings on a Vine.)

Diego: Say, “animal.”

(Dora swings on a Vine.)

Dora: Say, “rescuers.”

Dora: Help me catch them. Catch them, catch them, catch them!

(Diego and Dora successfully save the baby marmosets.)

Baby Marmoset: Thank you for saving us.

Sammy: They’re animal rescuers. It’s what they do.

(the marmosets live in a tree.)

Dora and Diego: Great working together!

(suddenly, a video watch beeps.)

Diego: Hey, that’s my video watch. It must be Alicia.

Alicia: The baby maned wolf is getting really close to the thorns. He could get hurt. You’ve got to save him.

Mommy Maned Wolf: Save him! Save him!

Diego: Don’t worry, Alicia. We’re on our way. Come on, animal rescuers. We’ve got to rescue the baby maned wolf.

Dora: Let’s go!

Sammy: Go, animal rescuers, go!

(they go to a big river.)

Diego: Whoa! That’s a big river!

Dora: But which way did the baby maned wolf go?

Diego: We can use my spotting scope to look for the maned wolf footprints. Put your hands in the air and make a spotting scope.

(the camera pans over where the baby maned wolf footprints are in the other side of the big river.)

Diego: Do you see the maned wolf footprints?

Dora: There they are. Way down the river.

Diego: We need to get down the river to follow those wolf prints.

Rescue Pack: I can help!

Backpack: Yo tambien!

Dora: Great! We can use Rescue Pack and Backpack together.

Diego: To activate my rescue pack, say, “Activate!” Louder! Activate!

(Rescue Pack sings his full song.)

Rescue Pack: Yo! Rescue Pack here! Diego and Dora need something they can use to ride down the river.

(Rescue Pack turns into a go-cart.)

Rescue Pack: Can they use a go-cart to ride down the river? No!

(Rescue Pack turns into a raft.)

Rescue Pack: Can they use a raft to ride down the river? Yes!

(Rescue Pack changes back into his normal backpack self.)

Rescue Pack: Now, it’s Backpack’s turn. Say, “Backpack.”

(Backpack sings her full song.)

Backpack: Let’s see what else Diego and Dora need. Do they need ice skates to row down the river? Oops, that’s silly! Do they need paddles to row down the river? Yes! They can use paddles to row down the river! And don’t forget a life jacket for Dora. Yum, yum, yum! Delicioso!

Diego: Look, we got a raft.

Dora: And we’ve got life jackets and paddles, too.

(Diego and Dora row across the river, but they hear the baby maned wolf calling out for help.)

Dora: That’s the baby maned wolf calling for help.

Diego: We’ve got to save him.

Dora: But it’s so hard to paddle. We need your help. Will you help us paddle down the river? Great. Put your hands out in front of you and hold on to your paddle, now…

Diego and Dora: Paddle, paddle, paddle, paddle, paddle, paddle!

(suddenly, they saw a river otter.)

Dora: Look. The river otter is stuck in a whirlpool, and his paw is caught in a net.

Diego: We’ve got to rescue him. Help me throw the life preserver to him. Put your hands over your head, and, throw it, throw it, throw it! Now grab the rope and. Pull! Pull! Pull! Great pulling!

Dora: Are you okay?

River Otter: I am now. Thanks for rescuing me.

Diego: We’re animal rescuers. It’s what we do.

Dora: Now we’ve got to rescue the baby maned wolf.

River Otter: Go, animal rescuers, go!

Diego: Say, “animal.”

Dora: Say, “rescuers.”

Both: Say, “animal.” Say, “rescuers.”

Diego: Say, “animal rescuers.”

Both: Rescatamos animales.

Dora: Say, “animal rescuers.”

Both: Al Rescate!

(Diego and Dora row across the river and get to the other side. Diego and Dora jump off safely. The raft turns into Rescue Pack’s backpack self. Dora tosses the oars and her life jacket into Backpack.)

Backpack: Yum, yum, yum! Delicioso!

Dora: Those are the baby maned wolf prints.

Diego: And look, they lead to the prickers and thorns. He’s in those bushes, and he sounds so scared.

Dora: We’ve got to get there fast before baby maned wolf gets hurt.

Diego: I know. We can run fast like maned wolves to get there quick.

Dora: We need your help. Help us run by singing the Spanish word, “Corre.” Can you sing? Corre, Corre.

(they sing the Spanish full song.)

Diego: Look. There’s the baby maned wolf.

Dora: Uh-oh. I don’t see him.

Diego: We have to run faster. Stand up, stand up! Come on. Run with me. Run, run, run!

(they sing the Spanish full song.)

Both: Excelente!

Diego: Wow! You’re a really fast runner!

Dora: Thanks for singing, “Corre!”

Both: Good working together!

Diego: Come on! Let’s rescue the baby maned wolf!

Dora: We made it to the prickers and thorns. But I don’t see the baby maned wolf.

Diego: And I don’t hear him, either.

(Diego then gets an idea.)

Diego: Hey, maned wolves have big ears to help them hear really well.

Dora: Let’s use our maned wolf ears to listen. Cup your hands to your ears to listen for the baby maned wolf. If you hear a maned wolf, say, “maned wolf.”

Baby Maned Wolf: A-woof! A-woof!

Both: Maned wolf!

Dora: Let’s call to the baby maned wolf to tell him we’re here. Say, “a-woof.”

Both: A-woof!

Baby Maned Wolf: A-woof. A-woof.

Diego: He sounds like he’s right over these bushes.

Dora: I can’t see him.

Diego: Maned wolves long legs make them tall enough to see over the tall grass. We’ve got to stand on our long legs to see over these bushes.

Dora: Stand up, please! Stand up!

Diego: Now, stretch up high on your long legs. Higher, higher, higher. There he is.

Dora: And he’s headed for that sharp, prickly bush.

Diego: Say, “stop, baby maned wolf.”

Dora: He stopped.

Diego: Good animal rescuing. Come on. Hello, baby maned wolf.

Dora: Hi there. Aww. He’s so shy.

Baby Maned Wolf: (sadly) I got lost.

Diego: We know, baby maned wolf. But don’t worry, you’re safe now.

Dora: We’re so happy we found you.

Baby Maned Wolf: Thanks for rescuing me.

Baby Maned Wolf: Now, I really want to see my mommy and brothers and sisters.
