Cotton-Top Tamarin Facts[]

  • A cotton-top tamarin is a really small monkey so it can hide way up high in the trees and stay safe, not a really big monkey.
  • To call other-cotton-top tamarins, it chirps, not growl like a jaguar because that's too scary.
  • A cotton-top tamarin needs to live in trees so it can stay safe, not in an ocean.
  • Cotton-top tamarins are native to tropical forest edges and secondary forests in northwestern Colombia.
  • Cotton-top tamarins have white hair on their head.

Episode Events[]

  • To help the cotton-top tamarins, Alicia and I (Diego) planted fig trees because cotton-top tamarins eat fruit, not grass.
