[Our story begins with Diego at the Animal Rescue Center.] Let's say hello!

¡Hola, Diego!

"¡Hola!" he says.

"I'm Diego!"

He's got big news for us!

He announces that

his cousin, Dora the Explorer is visiting the Animal Rescue Center!

See her?

Diego is really excited!

"THERE she is!"

"Hi, Dora!" says Diego.

The cousins hug.

"Hi,

Diego!" she replied.

"¡Hola!" she responded to the viewer.

"Who are

THESE little guys?" Diego asked.

Dora explains to Diego she was out exploring

and found these two lost bears.

¡Hola, bears!

(Grrr)

What kind of bears of those?

Diego tells us. "Hey!

Those are spectacled bears!"

Can YOU say,

"Spectacled"?

Try saying that word, then say, "Spectacled bears"!

Bear hugs for Dora!

And Diego!

The spectacled bears are sad because their tree fell down and they no longer have a nest. Can YOU help us find a new home for them? (I guess we don't need a map segment or Click's for today.) We don't know where spectacled bears live!

What can we use to find more about animals? Diego's field journal!

He turns it on.

"There are many kinds of bears!" Diego explained.

"This one is a panda bear. It lives in bamboo forests." (Maybe we'll get to learn about one later in the series.)

What kind of bear is this?
A polar bear, right! It lives in the Arctic Circle. (Maybe we'll be able to learn about THEM later on, too!)

(Hey! There's what we're looking for!) "Look! Here's a spectacled bear!"

(growling)

Uh-oh! That sounds like a puma!

Little spectacled bears are afraid of pumas!

"We need your help to get the spectacled bears away from the pumas," says Dora. "If you see a puma, yell, 'PUMA'!" AND turn the wheel.

See a puma anywhere?

"PUMA!!!" yelled Diego and Dora. (Turn the wheel!)

(Turn right.)

YAY!

If you see another puma, say, "puma"!

There's one on the right.

"PUMA!!!" they yelled. (Turn the wheel!)

(Turn left.)

"WHOA!"

YAY!

See any more pumas?

Not one…

…but TWO pumas on the left.
"PUMAS!!!" they shouted. (TURN THE WHEEL!!!!)

(Turn right.)

They made it out of Puma Mountain!

"YAY!"

The pumas gave up.

Dora feeds the bears some fruit!

There are two paths! Listen carefully to find the owl.

(Hoo! Hoo!)

(Hiss! Hiss!)

The first path, right!

Eek! There was a snake on the other path!

Spectacled bears can hear very well!
WHAT are the bears that can hear very well?

Spectacled bears!

There were snakes on the other paths! Yikes!

Help them pull Chito and Rita.

"YOOOOO! Rescue Pack here!" said Rescue Pack. "Diego and Dora need something that can help them zip through the air to get to the Cloud Forest!" Help him find the right item.
