- Spectacled bears have warm and cozy fur, not feathers like most birds.
- Spectacled bear cubs are afraid of pumas.
- Spectacled bears have a good sense of hearing.

Trivia[]
- This is the second time that Dora appears within the Go, Diego, Go! series and the first time alone.
- Boots, Swiper, Click, Baby Jaguar, the Fiesta Trio, and Map don't appear in this episode.
- However, Map will appear on Diego's Great Dinosaur Rescue.
- During the Una Adventura song, the monkeys are mirrored when they sang the first "Go, Diego, go!", just like Three Little Condors.
- Diego does not use Click in this episode, nor does Dora ask Map for directions. Instead Diego uses his field journal to find out where spectacled bears live.
- The Travel Song is not featured in this episode, due to it not being meant for the spin-off series. Instead, they sing Una Adventura.
- This is the third time "Sube" was sung, except the word is changed to "Suban".
- Alicia does not appear until the "Let's Review!" in this episode like in Linda the Llama Saves Carnival. Additionally, she doesn't say "See you soon!" at the end of this episode, Dora says it instead.
- This is the first episode Diego doesn't zip line after leaving the animal rescue center, Dora and Diego drive the Rescue Jeep instead.
- This marks not only the first time that Dora joins Diego's adventure, but also the first time that she sings "Una Adventura" with him. Her first time singing Al Rescate will be the next produced episode.
- And also, while beginning the song, Diego doesn't say "Clap your hands with us!". Instead, Dora says "Clap your hands with me!" while Diego holds the steering wheel to drive the Rescue Jeep.
- Diego and Dora don't say, "Excelente" during the animal end song. They instead say "Yay!".
- This episode premiered on Presidents' Day 2006. Additionally, there was a Go, Diego, Go! marathon leading up to the premiere.
- In some scenes, Dora has her Dora's Dance to the Rescue design.
- This is not only Backpack's first appearance, but also the first episode for her segment on Go, Diego, Go!.
- This means that this is the first episode to have her song sung in the spin-off series.
- The yellow car is the same one from Chinta the Baby Chinchilla and Three Little Condors.
- The snake cave scenario is reused from Chinta the Baby Chinchilla, but with chinchilla noises being replaced by an owl.
- This episode is premiered along with the Little Einsteins' 18th episode of Season 1 "The Northern Night Light".
- In this episode, after the animal ending song, the phrases "Rescue/Adventure complete!" and "You are a great animal rescuer!" are never said. Instead, "The nest is all built!" and "You are great at helping animals!" is said by Dora.
- Although it premiered in 2006, it was made in 2005 according to the credits.
Goofs/Errors[]
- When Backpack was not being used, she can be seen with both side pockets. The star pocket can be seen on Backpack during her theme song for her segment, despite that there is never star-catching in Go, Diego, Go!.
- However, it disappears afterwards. The animations themselves during her song is recycled from Dora's Dance to the Rescue.
- Diego drives a car at age 8. In real life, one is not allowed to drive a car unless he/she is 16 years old or older (although here it doesn't apply due to cartoon logic).
- This would later occur on the Dora and Friends: Into the City! episode For the Birds where he drives at age 11.
