- Chinchillas can hop super high. They can’t swim; thus, making them drown very easily.
- Chinchillas have big eyes which help them see in the dark.
- Chinchillas do not have small ears; but they do have big ones which help them hear very well, especially if scary animals are close by.
- Chinchillas love to eat leaves, not worms because they look like snakes (which they are afraid of).
- Chinchillas are afraid of both snakes and pumas.
- Chinchillas have warm and cozy fur to keep them from getting cold.

Trivia[]
- This is the very first episode of Go, Diego, Go! in production order.
- This is the first time Diego says, "Hola, I'm Diego!".
- Usually, Diego says "¡Hasta luego, amigos!" and Alicia says "See you soon!". In this episode, it's the opposite (Alicia says the first phrase and Diego says the second).
- This is the first episode to feature an obstacle being a predator animal that being the Puma.
- It is unknown how Alicia got to Chinchilla Mountain during the Chinchilla end song, although she was driving the Rescue Jeep to get there.
- This is the first episode to air on Nick Jr. daytime block, as the previous episode was a primetime premiere.
- Baby Jaguar doesn't appear in this episode.
- However, Chinta takes her place as Diego's assistant (after she was saved).
- This episode premiered the same day as Diego Saves the Mommy and Baby Sloth. In fact, the premiere of this episode aired right before the premiere of the aforementioned episode.
- This episode debuts the Rescue Jeep, which appeared in the title sequence.
- The snake cave listening scenario would be used again in Chito and Rita the Spectacled Bears, but with an owl replacing Chinta.
- This episode marks the first time the Bobo Brothers can be seen instead of just heard saying "Bobos! Bobos!" when they first appeared.
- The transformations from this episode, with the exception of the telephone transformation, will later be used in A Booboo on the Pygmy Marmoset and To Babysit a Bobo.
- This is the first episode where Click does not zoom out to show the featured animal's danger better.
- This is the first time the video of the featured animal is photorealistically animated instead of using live-action footage.
- This is the first episode where Rescue Pack transforms into four items instead of three.
- A clip from this episode appears in the online game, "Diego's Field Journal".
Goofs/Errors[]
- During the animal ending song, when Alicia sings, "So many chinchillas in a family," her vest is normal for some reason.
- Diego says chinchillas can't swim, but in real life they can swim.
