Dora: Hi, I’m Dora! Do you like riddles? Me too!

Boots: Me too! I love riddles!

(swings down to solid ground)

Boots: Ooh-ooh-aah-aah!

Dora: Riddles are silly questions. I have a silly riddle for you! Listen carefully. What’s furry, swings from tree to tree, and goes... (imitating monkey) "Ooh-ooh-ahh-ahh!"?

Boots: Ooh, that’s a good riddle! What’s furry, swings from tree to tree, and goes... (imitating monkey) "Ooh-ooh-ahh-ahh!"?

(blue cursor clicks Boots)

Boots: A monkey, right! Like me!

Dora: Right, Boots!

Boots: Ooh-ooh-ahh-ahh!

(both laughing)

Boots: Dora, Dora, tell me another riddle! I love riddles! (picks a banana with his tail)

Dora: Okay, Boots. Here’s another riddle! Listen carefully. What’s yellow on the outside, white on the inside, and you can peel it?

Boots: Ooh, that’s a good riddle! Hmm.... Do you know what’s yellow on the outside, white on the inside, and you can peel it? (peels banana)

(cursor clicks on Boots' banana)

Boots: Oh, yeah! A banana!

Dora: Right!

(Boots eating banana)

(Both laughing again)

Boots: That’s a good riddle, Dora! (finishes banana and throws the peels in a waste bin) I LOVE riddles! Call me... Mr. Riddles!

[Suddenly, the Fiesta Trio comes over playing a special fanfare, then they make an announcement]

Snail: Riddle contest!

Grasshopper: Riddle contest!

Frog: There’s a riddle contest to see who can solve the silliest riddle.

Fiesta Trio (together): Today! At the TALL Mountain!

[They leave and Boots and Dora are surprised]

Boots: A riddle contest!

Dora: To see who can solve the silliest riddle of all!

Boots: I LOVE riddles! I bet WE can solve the silliest riddle. Can we go to the Tall Mountain? Can we, can we?!

Dora: Sure, Boots... I mean, Mr. Riddles!

Boots: (cheers) Let’s go to the Tall Mountain so we can solve the silliest riddle!

[So they get going]

Dora: But Boots, we don’t know how to get to the Tall Mountain.

Boots (in shock): OH NO!

Dora: Here’s another riddle: Who can we ask for help when we don’t know which way to go?

Boots: The Map!

Dora: The Map, that's right! The Map can tell us how to get to the Tall Mountain, so we can solve the silliest riddle! I need your help. Will you check the Map to find out how to get to the Tall Mountain? You have to say "Map!".

Boots: Say "Map"! Say "Map"!

(Map pops out of Backpack, then flies up in the air)

Map: Dora and Boots need to get to the Tall Mountain so they can solve the silliest riddle! Well I know how to get to the Tall Mountain! First, you go over the Troll Bridge, then go through the Knock-Knock Door, and that’s how you’ll get to the Tall Mountain! So you tell Dora: Bridge, Door, Tall Mountain. Say it with me! Bridge, Door, Tall Mountain. Bridge, Door, Tall Mountain. Bridge, Door, Tall Mountain!! [zooms to the screen]

Dora: How do we get to the Tall Mountain? (Three square pop up in front of her) Bridge, Door, Tall Mountain. First, we need to go over the Troll Bridge, then we go through the Knock-Knock Door, and that’s how we’ll get to the Tall Mountain, so we can solve the silliest riddle! Thanks for helping! [three squares disappear] So first we have to go over the Troll Bridge. Do you see a bridge?

Boots: Where?!

[cursor clicks it]

Boots: Oh, yeah! There’s the Troll Bridge!

Dora: Come on! ¡Vamanos! Let’s go to the Tall Mountain!

Boots: So we can solve the silliest riddle!

[Travel song plays]

Dora: Come on, say it with us!

Dora and Boots: Bridge, Door, Tall Mountain! (4x) [Running down a hill] Come on, ¡vamanos! Everybody let’s go!

Boots: Come on, let’s get to it!

Dora: I know that we can do it! Where are we going?

Boots: Tall Mountain, where are we going?

Dora: Tall Mountain!

Both: Where are we going?

Fiesta Trio: Tall Mountain!

Dora: Where are we going?

All: Tall Mountain!

Dora and Boots: [laughing and spinning in a circle together] Tall Mountain!

[They get going and they stop for a moment]

Boots: Dora, Dora, tell me a riddle! Tell me a riddle! I LOVE riddles!

[Señor Burro comes up a hill]

Dora: Okay, Mr. Riddles! Listen carefully, what goes... (imitates donkey) "Hee-haw, hee-haw!”, has a tail that swishes, and has four legs?

Boots: Ooh, that’s a good riddle! Do you know what goes (imitates donkey) "Hee-haw, hee-haw!”, has a tail that swishes, and has four legs?

Señor Burro: Hee-haw! Hee-haw!

(Cursor clicks Señor Burro)

Boots: A donkey, right!

Señor Burro: Hee-haw! Hee-haw!

Boots: Look, there’s a donkey!

Dora: That’s Señor Burro!

Señor Burro: ¡Hola, Dora! ¡Hola, Boots!

Boots: We're going to the Tall Mountain so we can solve the silliest riddle!

Dora: Nos puede dar un paseito?

Dora: Señor Burro will give us a ride, Boots. Come on, we better get to the Tall Mountain rápido!

Boots: How do I tell him to wait?

Dora: I need your help? To get Señor Burro to wait, we need to say "Espere." Can you say "Espere"? Now tell Señor Burro "Espere." Espere! Louder! Espere!

Señor Burro: Espere?

Dora: Great, we got Señor Burro to wait. Gracias, Señor Burro. ¡Vamanos!

[They reach the bridge]

Dora: Look, the Troll Bridge.

Grumpy Old Troll: I'm the Grumpy Old Troll who lives under the bridge! Hey! I'm the Grumpy Old Troll who lives under the bridge. Who's there? If you wanna come over, all you have to do is this. All you have to do is this. Solve my riddle. No one goes over my bridge unless they solve my riddle.

Boots: I love riddles! I bet we can solve your riddle, Mr. Troll.

Grumpy Old Troll: We'll see. Listen carefully. What goes... (imitates donkey) "Hee-haw, hee-haw!”, has two tails and eight legs?

Dora: Hmm. What goes... (imitates donkey) "hee-haw, hee-haw!”, has two tails and eight legs?

Boots: Ooh, that's a hard riddle.

Dora: Let's stop and think. First we have to figure out What goes... (imitates donkey) "Hee-haw, hee-haw!”.

Boots: We know Señor Burro goes "Hee-haw, hee-haw!,” but he only has one tail. Who has another tail?

[cursor clicks Boots]

Boots: Yeah! I have a tail too. Señor Burro goes "Hee-haw, hee-haw!,” and together we have two tails. But the riddle says we need eight legs. How many legs do we have altogether?

Dora: Let's count all your legs. Count with me.

Both: One, two, three, four, five, six.

Dora: Six legs.

Boots: We only have six legs, but the riddle says eight legs.

Dora: How many more legs do we need? Two more, right. Who else has two legs?

[cursor clicks Dora]

Dora: Me!

Boots: Let's count all our legs!

Dora: Count with me.

Both: One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight.

Boots: Altogether, we have eight legs!

Dora: So, what goes "hee-haw, hee-haw," has two tails and eight legs? We do! All of us together!

Boots: A donkey, a monkey and Dora!

Grumpy Old Troll: I don't believe it! You solved my riddle. Now you can go over my bridge. I'll stump you all next time for sure. That's one smart monkey.

Boots: Call me Mr. Riddles!

(Fanfare plays)

Dora: We made it over the Troll Bridge! Thanks for helping.

Both: (Giggling)

Boots: Thanks, Señor. Burro.

Dora: Gracias.

Señor Burro: Buena suerte.

Boots: Where do we go next?

Dora: (Three squares pop up in front of her) Bridge, Door, Tall Mountain. We went over the bridge, so next we come to...

(Cursor clicks the door)

Dora: The door, right. The Knock Knock Door. Do you see a door? Where?

[cursor clicks it]

Boots: Yeah! There’s the Knock Knock Door.

Dora: Come on! ¡Vamanos! Let’s go to the Tall Mountain!

Boots: So we can solve the silliest riddle!

[Travel song plays]

Dora: Come on, say it with us!

Dora and Boots: Bridge, Door, Tall Mountain! (2x) [Running down a hill] Come on, ¡vamanos! Everybody let’s go!

Boots: Come on, let’s get to it!

Dora: I know that we can do it! Where are we going?

Boots: Tall Mountain, where are we going?

Dora: Tall Mountain!

Both: Where are we going?

Fiesta Trio: Tall Mountain!

Dora: Where are we going?

All: Tall Mountain!

Dora and Boots: [laughing and spinning in a circle together] Tall Mountain!

[Isa comes up a hill]

Dora: Okay, Mr. Riddles! Listen carefully, what goes up when the rain comes down?

Boots: Ooh, that's a good riddle. Do you know what goes up when the rain comes down?

[cursor clicks the umbrella]

Boots: An umbrella, right.

Dora: Uh-oh, Boots. I think we need an umbrella, an quick. I might have on in my Backpack. I need your help. Will you check my Backpack and find an umbrella? You have to say Backpack.

Dora: Louder!

Dora: Even louder!

[Backpack, Backpack plays]

Backpack: Backpack, Backpack Backpack, Backpack Yeah!

Backpack: Hola. Dora needs you to find an umbrella quick. Do you see the umbrella?

[cursor clicks it]

Backpack: Right! There it is! Excelente! Yum, yum, yum, yum, yum. Delicioso

Boots: We got this umbrella up just before the rain came down.

(Both cheering)

Big Storm Cloud: Ah.

Dora: Hey, Boots, I have another riddle. What goes...

(Swiper rustling)

Dora: ...is sneaky, and is always trying to swipe our stuff?

(Swiper rustling again)

Both: Swiper the fox!

Boots: That sneaky fox will try to swipe our umbrella.

Dora: If you see the fox, yell "Swiper!" What's that? You see Swiper?

Boots: Yeah, there he is!

Dora: Help us stop Swiper. Say "Swiper, no swiping."

Both: Swiper, no swiping! Swiper, no swiping! Swiper, no swiping!

Swiper: Oh, Man! (Gets wet) Oh, Man!

Dora: Thanks for helping us stop Swiper.

Boots: And the rain cloud's gone to the other.

Backpack: Yum, yum, yum, yum, yum. Delicioso!

[They reach the door]

Boots: Look, Dora, it's the Knock Knock Door. (Pulls the doorknob) The Knock Knock Door won't open.

Dora: But we have to go through the Knock Knock Door to get to the Tall Mountain.

(The door wakes up)

Knock Knock Door: Knock knock!

Dora: Who's there?

Knock Knock Door: Boo.

Dora: Boo who?

Knock Knock Door: Boo "who"? Boo hoo? Aw, don't cry, it's just a joke. (laughs)

Dora and Boots: (both laughing)

Dora: Boo "who". That sounds like we're crying. That's funny.

Boots: Yeah, that's a funny knock knock joke.

Knock Knock Door: Knock knock.

Both: Who's there?

Knock Knock Door: Chooch.

Both: Chooch who?

Knock Knock Door: Chooch "who"? Chugga-chugga-chooch-"who! You're a train! (laughing)

Dora, Boots, and Knock Knock Door: (all laughing)

Boots: Your knock knock jokes are so silly.

Dora: Knock Knock Door, we need to go--

(The door falls asleep)

Boots: Dora, how are we going to get through this Knock Knock Door?

Dora: I have an idea. I need your help. Will you help me knock on the Knock Knock Door? On the count of 3, let's knock. One... two... three!

Both: Knock knock.

Knock Knock Door: (wakes up) Who's there?

Dora: Orange.

Knock Knock Door: Orange who?

Dora: "Orange" you gonna unlock the door and let us through?

Knock Knock Door: "Orange" you going to unlock the door and let us through?! (laughing hysterically) Oh, that's a good one! Come on through!

Dora: We liked playing knock knock jokes with you, but we have to go to the Tall Mountain.

Boots: So we can solve the silliest riddle!

Knock Knock Door: You'll be good at that.

Boots: I love riddles. Call me Mr. Riddles!

Knock Knock Door: Good luck, Mr. Riddles.

(Fanfare plays)

Dora: We made it through the Knock Knock Door.

(Both cheering)

Boots: Where do we go next?

Dora: (Three squares pop up in front of her) Bridge, Door, Tall Mountain. We went over the bridge, through the Door, so next comes the...

(Cursor clicks the Tall Mountain)

Dora: Tall Mountain, right! Do you see the Tall Mountain? Where?

[cursor clicks it]

Dora: Yeah! There’s the Tall Mountain.

Boots: Come on, let's go solve the Silliest Riddle.

[They reach the Tall Mountain, suddenly, the Fiesta Trio playing a special fanfare, then they make an announcement]

Fiesta Trio (together): Riddle contest! Riddle contest! Let's see who can solve the Silliest Riddle.

Snail: Here's the riddle.

Grasshopper: Listen carefully.

Frog: Who can jump higher than the Tall Mountain?

Boots: Who can jump higher than the Tall Mountain? Ooh, that's a hard riddle.

Isa: (jumps) I can't jump higher than the Tall Mountain.

Benny: (jumps) I can't jump higher than the Tall Mountain.

Tico: (jumps) No puedo saltar más alto que la montaña.

Big Red Chicken: (jumps) I can't jump higher than the Tall Mountain. Bawk!

Benny: Dora and Boots, it's up to you to solve the Silliest Riddle.

Tall Mountain: (Groaning)

Fiesta Trio (together): Time's up! Who can jump higher than the Tall Mountain?

Boots: We know! We know! Everyone can jump higher than the Tall Mountain, because...

Both: Mountains can't jump!

Tall Mountain: Right! Ha, ha, ha!

Dora: Let's all jump higher than the Tall Mountain. Will you help us jump? Great! You have to stand up to jump. Stand up, please. Stand up!

Boots: Up, up, up!

Dora: Now jump! Jump higher! Jump really high! Good jumping.

Boots: See? Everyone can jump higher than the Tall Mountain, because...

Both: Mountains can't jump!

(Fanfare plays)

Fiesta Trio (together): You solved the Silliest Riddle!

(Dora and Boots cheering)

Boots: We solved the Silliest Riddle. I love riddles. Call me Mr. Riddles!

Both: We did it!

(We did it song plays)

Both: We did it.

Boots: We did it.

Dora: We did it.

All: Yay!

Dora: Lo hicimos.

Boots: We went over the Bridge and through the Door

Dora: We had such a silly trip today. What was your favorite part of the trip? I liked that too. My favorite part was the knock knock joke at the Knock Knock Door.

Boots: My favorite part was when we solved the Silliest Riddle by jumping higher than the Tall Mountain.

Dora: We couldn't have done it without you. Thanks for helping.
