Call for admins
It is now a year since I adopted the wiki. As stated before, my purpose in doing so was to ward off vandalism and help clean the wiki up. A lot of that has been accomplished and I'm pleased to see that we've had a steady amount of people editing here.
It's time to move onto the next step, which is to get a few more administrators so that the wiki can continue to grow. So I'm doing the same thing I just did on another wiki: I'm putting out a call for administrators. I think we could use a team of two or three to start with. More may be added in the future, but let's start with this amount first.

A word from the new admin
It's been a week since my adoption request for this wiki was approved, so it's time to introduce myself and give you an idea of what I have planned. My profile page here has the list of the wiki's I'm an admin on, but the one on the Phineas and Ferb Wiki has a bit more personal information about myself.
I came here a year ago because I was cleaning up some vandalism that hit several wikis. "Returning to the scene of the crime" may be a cliche for when dealing with criminals in the physical world, but with vandals on wikis, many times they actually do go back to the same wikis and/or commit the same type of vandalism elsewhere, so once I visit a wiki to help clean it up, I will periodically check at later times to help ensure the vandalism i…

How come that if I tell people that the Celesdora page is not real, they decide to keep it? You guys need to know that we can't keep the page. We need to delete it. Dora is not friends with Celesta from Dragonronpa. We've never seen Dora in that anime game before. How can we tell if she's friends with Celesta or not? Anyway, I have decided that we don't need the page. No means no. So there!

Meet Dora at Macy's
As part of their celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, Macy's is holding special events at their stores between September 20 and October 5, 2013. Some of the events are appearances by a "virtual" version of Latina superstar Thalía and the others are appearances by Dora the Explorer.
At the events with Thalía, there will be a fashion show inspired by her, singing alongside a virtual version of Thalía, and more. People who attend that spend $25 or more for "women's purchases" will get a copy of Thalía's album, Habitame Siempre and a DVD entitled Habitame Siempre - Edicion Especial. I've been watching Dora the Explorer for years. I'm brushing up on my Spanish and I can convert Spanish words back into English words. The music for the show is great. It shows positivity, communicating with people and it even involves solving problems.

A brand new promo for Dora the Explorer are kaleidoscope-styled and will offer images and videos for each character in a kaleidoscope/mirror format and also have a sitar-style kaleidoscope version of the Dora the Explorer theme song along with text in the center of the screen while the kaleidoscope is playing.
This promo will air on Nick Jr starting this late-August.

Wow; once I adopted this wiki there hasn't been any vandalism. I saw on Wikipedia that there is a Dora the Explorer episode called "Diego with Chickenpox". I tried to find it on YouTube, but no luck. Could that episode be made up? Tell me what you think, while I continue searching.
