Boots!"

Dora explains that today

is the big go-cart race

and that their friend Benny the Bull

invited them to watch.

"It's his

first race

EVER!" Boots adds.

"The race is about to start," Dora explains.

"And the

racers are

ALL here!" Here are the racers.

There's Horse,

Sloth,

Little Piggy,

Rabbit,

and Little Bull.

"But, I don't see Benny!" said Dora.
Where could he be?

"Do you

see

Benny the Bull?"

"Yeah,

there he is, there he is!"

"BENNY!!" they cheered.

"Benny,

are you ready for the race?"

"OH, yeah!

I'm SUPER excited!

It's my

first race

EVER!"

"I hope I can

finish it."

"YOU can do it,

Benny!"

"We know you can,

big guy!"

Dora has some advice: "Just remember:

NEVER give up!"

"Hi," said the little yellow bull to Benny.

"Hey there, Little Bull!"

"Benny, it's MY first race, too!"

"Are you okay?" Benny asked him.

"I bet you'll do great."

"Good luck!"

"Time to start

the race!" called Big Red Chicken.

"BAWK-BAAAAAAWK!!!"

"Ready…

set…

GO!!!"

(whistle blows)

And everyone is off…

…except for Benny.

Oh, no! His go-kart broke!

"UH-OH!

I think my

go-kart is

broken."

"Maybe I should just give up!"

"Benny! You CAN'T give up!"

"We can help you put it back together."

"REALLY?!"

"Sure!

Do you have the instructions, Benny?"

"Look," said Dora.

"There should be two small wheels in the front,

and two large wheels in back."

We have to go past the Traffic Cones, then through the Hot Desert, and that's how we'll get to the Finish Line!

Where do we go first?
The cones, right! The traffic cones!

Are the traffic cones on the first or second path?

Look at all those traffic cones!

"We made it to the traffic cones," said Dora.

"Uh-oh!" said Benny.

"This looks like an obstacle course!"

"I have never driven through one of THOSE before!"

Benny asks: "Should I give up?"

(WHAT?! NO WAY!)

We went past the traffic cones, check! Where do we go next?
The desert, right! The Hot Desert!

Is the desert on the first or second path?

Tico wished Benny good luck in the race. Benny says, "¡Gracias, Tico!"

Look what's up ahead!

"And look! There's the desert!"

"Come on! Let's help Benny finish the go-cart race!

AND…"

"NEVER GIVE UP! NEVER GIVE UP!! NEVER GIVE UP!!!" they all chanted.

(Never EVER!)

And off they went.

They approach some sand, which means…

"We made it to the desert!" said Dora.

Oh no! What's happening?!

"Uh-oh!" said Boots. "Something's wrong!"

"I think the go-cart got too hot!" Benny said.

"It needs water!"

All of a sudden, they hear a beeping noise.

"LOOK!" said Dora.

"There's my friend, Chloe!"

"She's got a

COOL

dune buggy!"

"It kinda

looks like

my go-cart!" said Benny.

"Chloe's from Australia

and lives in the outback,

where they don't have

a lot of water."

"Hi,

Chloe!" Dora said as she gives her a hug.

And Chloe says, "Hi, Dora!"

The water needs to go the yellow line.

Is that enough water?
No!

Is that enough water?

Is THAT enough water?
Yes!

We went past the traffic cones, check! And through the hot desert, check! Where do we go next?
The Finish Line!
