It's Benny's first time in the Big Go-kart Race, and he needs help from Dora, Boots, and you to learn to NEVER GIVE UP!

Starting with this episode, Matthew Gumley replaces Jake Burbage as the new voice Benny the Bull. Gumley will voice him until Benny the Castaway.
This is the first appearance of Chloe and Little Bull.
When Dora, Boots, and Benny sing the Travel Song:
- The Fiesta Trio doesn't sing it with them; they instead appear riding two different scooters and a balloon, respectively. Also, Benny says the destination after the third "Where are we going?" in their place.
- They only sing it once in this episode.
- They do their "Never give up!" chant four times and in warp speed instead of listing the places.
This is the 14^th episode where Backpack is not used.
Swiper doesn't appear in this episode.
This is the fifth time Benny is present throughout the entire episode after The Golden Explorers, The Big Potato, Dora's Pirate Adventure, and We're a Team!.
This episode premiered exactly 6 years after The Golden Explorers.
- Both episodes coincidentally have Benny playing a major role.
Before the We Did It! song, the Fiesta Trio do not play their signal fanfare.
After Dora and Boots sing We Did It!, the Blue Cursor does not click on Dora, it instead clicks on the trophy that Benny won.
This is the fifth time where Boots is present during the picture pop-up sequence with Dora, the first four being Pinto, the Pony Express, ¡Rápido, Tico! (first two times only), Save the Puppies!, Boots' Special Day, and Dora's Pirate Adventure (with the whole cast of the episode when it was used the third time).
This is the second time Map says "We did it!" by himself instead of with Backpack after Dora's "Lo hicimos!" during the We Did It! song, with the first being Dora's World Adventure!.
In the YouTube version, the episode jump-cuts to the credits without a fade-out, which, including the cloud scenes and Nickelodeon lightbulb, warps up to a faster speed than usual, only lasting 7 seconds, and shifting to the left at the end. The beginning of the credits music plays, fading out completely before the credits end.
This marks the second time a character wake up someone by saying, "Wake up, (character)!" In this case, Dora, Boots, and Benny had to say "Wake up, Sloth!" to wake up the sleeping sloth.
- The first was in Boots' Cuddly Dinosaur, where Dora and Boots said "Wake up, Map!" to wake Map up, then said "Wake up, Backpack!" to wake Backpack up.
- The third will be in All Aboard the Giant Panda Express! from Diego's show, where Diego said "Wake up, Giant Panda!" to wake up Grandpa Panda.
- The fourth will be in Dora and the Very Sleepy Bear, where Dora and Boots said "Wake up Baby Bear!" to wake Baby Bear up multiple times, although one time, Dora said "Wake up, Boots!" to wake Boots up.
At the end of the episode, before the crowd cheered, "Hooray!", the Big Red Chicken said, "Bawk bawk...", meaning "Hip hip...".

Goofs/Errors[]

The Fiesta Trio were riding different vehicles throughout the episode. It is unknown whether they were in the race or not. In any case, they were unable to play their instruments when Dora, Boots, and Benny passed a main place on their trip, yet the fanfare is obviously heard both times.

Running Gag[]

Dora, Boots, and Benny keep chanting "Never give up!" throughout the episode for motivation.
