Baseball, Baseball, Fun in the Sun! is a song only from the Dora the Explorer album, listed as the thirty-ninth track. However, this song was possibly intended for the episode Baseball Boots, but it was cut off from the actual episode.

Lyrics[]

I look around at our friends, I know we all feel the same
'Cause there's nothing more exciting than a baseball game
To catch a high pop up or throw a guy out
Makes us feel like we wanna jump and shout
Baseball, baseball, fun in the sun
Baseball, baseball, score one more run
Baseball, baseball, we're number one
We play 'til we're out, come on let's all shout
Baseball, baseball, fun in the sun
Baseball, baseball, score one more run
Baseball, baseball, we're number one
We play 'til we're out, come on let's all shout (2x)
Baseball! (3x)

Lyrics (Chris Gifford version)[]

Note: Words in italics are spoken or voiced over by Chris Gifford. And words in bold are sung by Chris Gifford and Dora, Boots, and their friends at the same time.

I look around at our friends, I know we all feel the same
A beautiful catch by Boots the Monkey!
'Cause there's nothing more exciting than a baseball game
Wow! An awesome hit by Dora the Explorer!
To catch a high pop up or throw a guy out
It makes us feel like we wanna jump and shout
Baseball, baseball, fun in the sun
Baseball, baseball, score one more run
Baseball, baseball, we're number one
We play 'til we're out, come on let's all shout
Baseball, baseball, fun in the sun (What a catch!)
Baseball, baseball, score one more run (got ties!)
Baseball, baseball, we're number one
We play 'til we're out, now everyone shout (2x)
Baseball! (3x)

Trivia[]

  • There was also a version of this song on the NickJr.com Radio where only Chris Gifford (the co-creator and executive producer of the show) is singing it.
    • However, during the "Baseball, Baseball" parts, the characters sing along with him.
    • As he is singing, he gave feedback to the characters (Example: "Beautiful catch by Boots the Monkey!" and "Wow! Awesome hit by Dora the Explorer!").
    • Coincidentally, Chris Gifford wrote the episode Baseball Boots and sang this song. (It was intended, but cut off from actual episode).
