I have to take these books back to the library before it closes, or they'll be late!
She tries to carry them by hand, until…
Whoa! These books are heavy!
Along came Mami. "DORA!"
Here she comes! "We have a surprise for you!"

Her dad is also here! "It's something that can help you carry your books to the library," Mami explained to her daughter, Dora.

Now, we need something to put on that boo-boo to make it feel better.
"Where can I find something to put on Boots' boo-boo?" she asked herself.
Maybe we can use Backpack, who has her own song.
"BACKPACK, BACKPACK!"

"Hey, yeah! I can check my new backpack!"
Dora asks "I need YOUR help!" and says, "Will you check Backpack to find something to put on Boots' boo-boo?"
You have to say, "Backpack"!

This is the first time Dora has ever asked Backpack for anything! What can make Boots' boo-boo feel better?

"There's a map in my new backpack!" she said. She even was surprised because of her parents never even mentioning it.
It can even sing! "I'm the Map, I'm the Map, I'm the MAP!" he sang.
"I need your help! Will YOU check the Map and find the quickest way to the library?"

And up he goes! He SPRINGS out… (What does he have to say? There's only one way to find out!)
…and lands on a picture map! This is the first time Dora has ever asked Map for directions! He's so proud! Dora needs to find the quickest way to the library so she can return her books. Map knows the quickest way!
First, you cross the Troll Bridge!
Then, you climb over the Big Rock!
And that's how you get to the library!
