Characters present[]

Summary[]

Baby Jaguar needs just three more rescues to get his own animal rescue patch, like Diego, Alicia and their family! Will the viewer help him use his jaguar skills to become an official animal rescuer?

Recap[]

Baby Jaguar needs three more rescues to go to get his animal rescue patch. Baby Jaguar's first rescue involves Sammy needing help scaring away a coati. Diego transforms Rescue Pack into a rocket jetpack. "5, 4, 3, 2, 1! Blast off!" Diego says. Later, Chinta is stuck on a log going down a river, and Baby Jaguar rescues her. Finally, Mommy Blue Gray Tanager's nest was blown out of its tree. Baby Jaguar takes the lead on all 3 rescues, earning him his Rescue Patch.

Animal Sound of the Jaguar[]

Facts about Jaguars learned[]

  • Jaguars live in the rainforest, not in igloos because they're too cold.
  • Jaguars can swim and climb. They cannot play hopscotch or skip rope like most children.
  • Jaguars have claws, not flippers like marine animals.

Trivia[]

  • Diego's mother and the Bobo Brothers don't appear in this episode.
    • However, a coati seems takes the Bobos' place as an antagonist.
  • This is Mama Jaguar's second appearance. Her first was in Journey to Jaguar Mountain.
  • This episode could be Diego's version of Rescue, Rescue, Rescue! (both involve a lot of rescuing in one episode).
  • This is the 1st episode where Diego sings both the Al Rescate song and the Una Adventura song within the same episode.
  • When Baby Jaguar says "Mama, Mama!", the audio is taken from Journey to Jaguar Mountain.
  • This episode was released on Ready, Set, Go! before it premiered on TV.
  • This is another episode where the fourth wall was broken. Diego's father gave the viewer an official Animal Rescuer patch, after he gave one to Baby Jaguar.
  • This is another episode in which Diego returns to where he started from after finishing his rescue/adventure.
  • The story of this episode is similar to Rescue, Rescue, Rescue! (both involve a lot of rescuing in one episode). This also happens in Diego the Hero.
    • However, the differences are that Diego did have time to sing his Travel Songs "Al Rescate!" and "Una Adventura" together to begin his mission with Baby Jaguar while Dora and Boots did not have the time to sing their travel song to begin their mission of rescuing their friends as quickly as they can.
    • And another difference, is that Diego and Baby Jaguar are being very brave and they never panic, because animal rescuers have bravery and they cannot take a deep breath to relax while Dora and Boots did for their panic and they find a plan to save their friends or they will fail.
    • And additionally, Click the camera and Rescue Pack sing their songs at normal speed instead of very fast speed because of their loyalty, while Backpack and Map sing their songs at super fast speed because of the emergency.
    • When Diego says, "Louder, ¡Activate!" the audio is taken from Diego's Wolf Pup Rescue.
    • When Click says, "Does this sound like the animal in trouble?" the audio is taken from Cool Water for Ana the Anaconda.
    • This is the only episode where Valerie Walsh Valdes served as the voice director.
    • Diego's animation before the Rescue Pack segment is recycled from Rescue of the Red-Eyed Tree Frogs!.
  • This episode is the sequel of the Dora the Explorer episode “Baby Jaguar’s Roar”.
  • Although it premiered in 2006 originally scheduled, 2007 on DVD and Nickelodeon and 2010 on Nick Jr., it was made in 2005 according to the credits.

Goofs/Errors[]

  • Baby Jaguar did not appear in the "Let's Review!" segment until Diego's Safari Rescue.
  • When this episode premiered on Nick Jr, it somehow did not premiere with a regular screenbug. It simply had a “NEW EPISODE” bug throughout the entire episode.
    • This could be similar to the way that when Boots to the Rescue premiered on Nick Jr. on November 6, 2006, it uses the "Nick Jr. NEW" screenbug throughout the entire episode rather than a normal screenbug.
