¡Vamos a Pintar! (translated as We'll Paint! or Let's Paint!) (or Dora's Adventure in Art) is the 16^th episode of Dora the Explorer from Season 7.

In production order, it's the 14^th episode of Season 7.

Summary[]

Dora and Boots want to help paint a giant mural with their friend Daniela. Help them get to the Art Studio and finish painting pictures along the way!

After helping Big Red Chicken and the Little Chick finish their painting, they color the missing waterlilies in Water Lily Lake.

The name of the episode means "We'll Paint!" or "Let's Paint!" in Spanish.
This is the 155th episode of the show.
Benny, Isa, and Tico somewhat appear in this episode, as they appear in the mural of the painting, but they do not appear "in person".
It features the painting The Starry Night by Vincent Van Gogh, and an interpretation of The Old Guitarist by Pablo Picasso.
The Travel Song is replaced by another new song about getting to the art studio ("We Gotta Get to the Studio").
This marks the twelfth episode in which Swiper targets a character rather than a non-sentient object, giving the manner of kidnapping. The other victims were:

Swiper didn't say "You'll never [find/get] it/[your/the/that] paintbrush back now!" after "You're too late!", just like in "¡Rápido, Tico!" when he swiped the Blue Tunnel train tracks.
This is the final episode to premiere in 2012.
This is the second episode where the Big Red Chicken got a bucket stuck on his foot first being Doctor Dora.
When Dora and Boots were looking the paintbrush the scenery looked like Tiger in Tropical Storm by Henri Rousseau, but without the tiger.
When Dora and Boots go down the Train Tracks, the scenery looked like Persistence of Memory by Salvador Dalí.
The Van Gogh painting Starry Night uses a star and not the moon.
This episode is very similar to Little Einsteins, given the fact that the backgrounds blend into art similarly as Little Einsteins does.
Dora introduces herself the exact same way she did in the Season 1 episode Backpack!, the Season 2 episodes Pinto, the Pony Express and Quack! Quack!, and the Season 6 episode Dora's Hair-Raising Adventure ("¡Hola, I'm Dora!").
The beginning of this episode has a new paint set after Dora wished it for her 8th birthday as a sequel to both episodes Dora Helps the Birthday Wizzle and Dora's Big Birthday Adventure.
According to The Futon Critic, this episode was originally scheduled to premiere on November 13, 2012, but it ending up premiering two weeks and two days later on the 29th instead.
- Something similar happened to three other episodes:
  - Benny the Castaway was originally scheduled for July 6, 2012, but it was moved to October 17.
  - Check Up Day was originally scheduled for November 14, 2012, but it was moved to November 27.

This episode alongside The Shy Rainbow, was the inspiration for the unlicensed illegally produced Dora game Dora's Magic Paintbrush.

Running Gag[]

The paintbrush Dora uses to paint missing things in this episode does not work unless the Spanish phrase "¡Vamos a Pintar!" is said.
